@ircon96@shahnm That’s pretty much what I was going to say! I keep coming up empty. Not much of a drinker, and I try to avoid most Christmas music if possible (I just get so tired of it. They’ve officially started it on our main pop station as if today.)
@Kyeh@shahnm Ikr?? They used to at least have the decency to wait until after Thanksgiving! I’d be okay with it if they started on Christmas Eve & stopped at 12:01am on December 26th! And, yes, I’m the Grinch. Okay, I admit, technically I’m not green, but unfortunately i do have his pot belly.
@ircon96@shahnm I’ll admit to watching a few of the special holiday concerts on TV in the week or two before Christmas, but hearing carols in November in EVERY DAMN STORE is ghastly. And if I never hear Mariah’s song again I will be totally grateful.

@2many2no@sicc574 Back when I was in college in the Glorious 80s, there was a record (vinyl of course) of famous Bob and Doug skits and also the Take Off song which I think was with Geddy Lee from Rush.
I put it on cassette as I did with many things I owned that I wanted to listen to in a car. I remember these scenes very well as Bob and Doug entertained me many times over drives to college. (well, part of the drive anyway)
