No Baby Elephant Walk, or The Lion Sleeps Tonight? What about Surfin’ Bird? And then there’s Jethro Tull’s Bungle in the Jungle which is chock full of animals
@RiotDemon As you wish:
The song list sucks - you guys here got War Pigs and Hound Dog and it won’t let me play the you tubes so I may list one you have up there - but what about…
Survivor: Eye of the Tiger
The Cure: Love Cats
The Tokens: Lion sleeps tonight
Led Zepplin: Black Dog
Rage Against the Machine: Bulls on Parade
TV on the Radio: Wolf like me
America: Horse with no name
Jefferson Airplane: White Rabbit
Rolling Stone: Wild Horse
Lynyrd Skynyrd: Free Bird
Beatles: I am the Walrus (animal in band & song)
Prince: When Doves Cry
Duran Duran: Hungry like the Wolf
Fleetwood Mac: Albaratross
B-52’s: Rock Lobster
Heart: Barracuda
Meatloaf: Bat out of Hell
Def Lepard’s: Animal
Can’t remember artist: Who let the dogs out
Maroon 5: Animals (fav.bedroom striptease song)
I could go on Meh but I think 20 is enough to prove my point that your playlist is just wrong.
So, if the pattern holds, we are getting knives, cookware or bidets soon?
@WTFsunshine Who Let the Dogs Out is Baja Men. We use that a lot as a motivational morning song.
I agree the list was too short, but it introduced me to several songs/bands I never heard of, so points for that.
@mollama Thank you! I was just listing these in the main forum and RiotDemon wanted it posted here so I did. Going off the top of my head I couldn’t remember the artist, and I hated to not be able to remember (and leave it like that), but now you’ve made me happy.
I don’t know if I would say it is my favorite, but given today’s product choices of “Dog /Dog” , “Dog /Elephant” and “Dog/Lamb”, my mind first went to "Dog and Butterfly"
@number51 Yep, that’s him. He had a bit of singing career before “Tattletales” and “Win, Lose or Draw”. And before all of that, he played minor league baseball.
The Bees song was fun. But I gotta vote for Primus. And thanks for making me feel old.
I love Flanders and Swann- I have their animal album. My daughter is doing a biology project on morning glories and I made her listen to Misalliance.
Poor kid.
Lion Sleeps Tonight

@PlacidPenguin Wanted to give you a like for the duck songs, but unfortunately you coupled it with “What Does the Fox Say”
Is it really Sunday already?
Yet another meh-screen full of videos. Mehmbivalent tho, that others might enjoy them.
Really?
No War Pigs?
Disco Duck
/youtube surfin’ bird
@f00l
@f00l “Surfin Bird” is an inferior mash-up of two clearly superior tunes by the Rivingtons: “Papa Ooh Mow Mow” and “Bird’s the Word”
@DrWorm
They’re the real deal all right.
The GOAT!
MOAR GOAT!!!
@mike808 Trivia fact: Justine Bieber was born male. Not many people know that.
From Frozen - Let it goat
“You’ve got time” - Regina Spektor
(Orange is the new black theme)
Long time reader, first time commenter… but Animal Collective are great!!! especially that album – good looks team.
Didn’t listen to any of these but I voted for Mastodon.

Cows & Cows
Bert Convey the game show host?
@number51 Yep, that’s him. He had a bit of singing career before “Tattletales” and “Win, Lose or Draw”. And before all of that, he played minor league baseball.
The Bees are the knees.
Chicken dinner; a winner.
I heard it played twice.
Tracks I think should have been included:
The Buzzard Was Their Friend - Dan Hicks and His Hot Licks.
Wondering Where The Lions Are - Bruce Cockburn
Cows With Guns - Dana Lyons
