Seems their marketing department is in desperate need of a proofreader. Not sure what engergy is, nor why it’s advantageous that this product saves it for me. I did muster up enough energy to provide a helpful link for future reference though.
@ciabelle@PooltoyWolf I was hoping they’d substitute a couple of Bubbas for those dust cups in the last picture. I guess it would have taken too much engergy.
FYI Reading the reviews, here is the “home” fix for a common problem.
“Loved this vacuum…for the first 3 times I used it. Then it wouldn’t turn on! I called the company and explained that the on/off switch didn’t feel the same. It felt “spongy” (for lack of a better term). Eureka said it may have overheated and I needed to let it rest. I did that and it still didn’t start. They said they would replace it with a better model (which it wasn’t and I did not want). I’d have to send them a picture of the serial number tag on the vacuum and a picture of the cord which had to be cut off at the base. I decided to pull the cap (foot pedal) off of the on/off switch in order to see if that was the problem and indeed it was. The button inside the well works perfectly! It’s the cap (foot pedal) that kept slipping off the button. I called Eureka again and explained this. I asked if they could send a new cap (foot pedal) which they did. It slips off the on/off switch just like the original because it’s hollow! I filled the hollow portion of the “arm” that pushes down the on/off switch and WALA…it works perfectly each and every time! Eureka shouldn’t depend on the people who are paying for their product to do their re-engineering!”
@cengland0 I haven’t seen the movie; now it’s on my list. I first ran into the joke back in '79 or '80 when I worked for the company which did the color separations for Iron Horse magazine.
Never shocking to see that any of the images neglect to show the 30ft cord wrapped in a bundle around the handle or dangling off to one side while in use. Almost like they want people to think all vacuums are cordless . . .
Mine was delivered yesterday in several different pieces. The bag-less unit was separate from the swivel suction, and the handles was another separate piece. I worked for about 2 minutes trying to put together, but then thought a cocktail sounded better. Will try again over the weekend!
Got mine today, finally. Seems to be an alright vacuum for the price. But the Turbo Stair/Upholstery Brush is a joke - set it on the upholstery and the brush stops instantly. Not enough suction to make it spin strongly.
@therealjrn yep - definitely checked that. it’s just bad design to use the power you need for cleaning to drive that “motor” head. it should be electrically driven or not included.

This sucks
You had me at led
@mdknudsen LED and 30 foot cord…I have to sleep on this one. Already bought 2 other uprights. Tempted.
@birdy @mdknudsen Is this vacuum any good? I’ve been needing a new one.
So what do you say when you discover something that you don’t want?
@ybmuG you say nothing because you have nothing nice to say.
@tinamarie1974 @ybmuG This looks great I’d never pay for it but it’s absolutely wonderful.
@dvermilion @tinamarie1974 sorry, was being a bit obtuse after a long day. Was a reference to “eureka” being an exclamation of discovery.
@dvermilion @tinamarie1974 @ybmuG
oh…OH!! I get it now! HAHAHA
I completely read the description:
Warning! This does NOT have Bluetooth.
But it does have a tool for your extra long crevice.
@phendrick that sounds dirty!
/giphy long crevices

@ciabelle Damn, was hoping to be the first one to comment on that. I concede victory!
Instead, I’ll say how lewd ‘Super Deluxe Stretch Hose’ sounds.
@ciabelle @PooltoyWolf I was hoping they’d substitute a couple of Bubbas for those dust cups in the last picture. I guess it would have taken too much engergy.
@ciabelle @mehcuda67 Ha!
What a great Valentine present, NOT!
@hchavers It could be a great last Valentine present.
nice
@Atomizer nice

Nope, its not big enough. I always wanted to live in a vacuum.
I miss the Eureka Bagged Vacuums. Death to bagless!
Question: What’s the difference between a vacuum and a Harley?
Answer: On the vacuum, the dirtbag is on the inside.
Old joke and will probably make some Harley owners mad but, oh well. Deal with it! It happens all the time.
@cengland0 And there’s another old joke about a biker babe being able to suck start a Harley - but I forget how it goes.
@cengland0 A "thinkier (read “better”) way to tell the joke is:
Q. What is the difference between a vacuum cleaner and a Harley Davidson?
A. The location of the dirtbag.
@rpstrong Your suck start a Harley joke might be from Roadhouse.
@cengland0 I haven’t seen the movie; now it’s on my list. I first ran into the joke back in '79 or '80 when I worked for the company which did the color separations for Iron Horse magazine.
@rpstrong I saw it but don’t remember much about it. I have to watch movies multiple times for me to remember details.
Nope. Must have the word HEPA listed at least 8 times for me even to look.
I can’t tell from the pictures: Does the base have a rug brush or does only the pet tool have a rotating brush?
Never shocking to see that any of the images neglect to show the 30ft cord wrapped in a bundle around the handle or dangling off to one side while in use. Almost like they want people to think all vacuums are cordless . . .
For some reason, I really enjoyed today’s write-up. Congrats to those responsible!
Haven’t seen it yet. Post office took it to another city.

@scottyinco You’ve probably already checked, but make sure the little suction slider/door on the attachment is closed.
@therealjrn yep - definitely checked that. it’s just bad design to use the power you need for cleaning to drive that “motor” head. it should be electrically driven or not included.
I had to pick it up. Post office did not do well. Looks good though.
