So i just want to make sure that I am not interwebbings wrong. I have not received a single email from meh.. Not for signing up.. Not for my order i made... not for being very much poorer... Did I breaks it?
We've been getting enough requests for transaction emails that we'll probably have to break down and offer a push-button type thing. I do so enjoy the current no-inbox strategy though.
I admit that I like the minimalist concept of no emails. However, the confirmation email is basically the same as a paper receipt. Never needed until something goes terribly wrong and then it becomes the one thing that can save your ass. I would feel uncomfortable without one and having to screenshot my own receipt feels tacky. Perhaps the middle ground can be an opt-in checkbox to have a receipt emailed to you. And a second opt-in checkbox that has @JonT hand deliver your reciept via singing telegram for an extra $1,000 charge. Commoditizing the receipt process. An E-Commerce first!
email is so 2008.
Fmail then?
seriously though, there's some stuff about email in the FAQ
I have to read? (sigh) ok....
No emails is correct. We don't send them. Unless you forget your password. Or someone @ mentions you (a setting which can be turned off).
I read the faq. I will go sit in the corner now.
You can take some crayons and paper with you.
@arbdef it's okay we get it a lot.
If you'd really like to receive an email from us, you can email support@meh.com and we will then reply to you. So that's something. Does that help?
So if I get lonely will you sing me a song and email it to me?
Careful what you ask for
I thought it was HALP@meh.com
@Thumperchick That's only if you need Halp. He seemed lonely. Lonely people need Support.

No inbox clutter is working for me!
Screenshot order confirmation is working for me!
I don't need you to tell me I just bought something. I was there I pushed the button. Shipment notification however would be helpful!
Yes, it is tradition in the case of Foku's (how can this be tradition if this is the start of Foku's?) to see weight and dimension.
Emails are just overkill since nothing's going to even be sent for days and mostly go SmartPost. Just bang away on F5 on your orders page.
who needs an email when you get order confirmations like this? obdurate-voidable-nugget
Gross.
@JonT sent me tasteful nudes
I am jealous... All I get are pictures of naked cats.
seriously... google needs a "safe cat" search
Geez now IT is going to monitor me because I have nude cat pics..... Ohh wait I am IT.. nevermind.
I think 'monitoring' yourself can make you go blind. Probably violates an office policy as well.

Throw in airfare if it's necessary and you have a deal! Tips highly encouraged.
I didn't think I wanted emails, but the daily Woot! mail is the only thing reminding me to stop by every day. So, there's that.
I find it strange, but many people set alarms or reminders on their phones.
There are also a few IFTTT.com recipes for this... I'll dig them up and post about it later today.
I created 3 IFTTT recipes for getting meh.com reminders. You can find them on my profile: https://ifttt.com/p/katylava
I recommend the email one, since the others just take you to the IFTTT app when tapped.
If it's taking a daily email to get you to stop by, it's not working right.
Why not put it in your bookmarks bar next to the thing you click every day.
browser home page? though, that's a pretty serious commitment. I'd need a ring first.
