There is an app, of course. I got one of these last time. It’s a great deal on a good vacuum. The tech support is dodgy, but it’s a quality machine. Mine only came with one dust bag instead of the two listed, but most notably, the battery is shot. It runs down surprisingly fast, and I have another Deebot vac (purchased new) to compare. Neither Ecovacs nor meh would do anything about it, although meh gave me the option to return it for a refund. So consider you may need to spring for a replacement battery.
It’s a good vacuum, an ok mop (it just drags a wet plate behind itself – do a real mopping to clean and then run this for maintenance), and customizable in its options.
Got it before. It’s nice, an hour to clean, makes a map. Bought some (offbrand?) consumables off the 'zon, app is decent, it runs around edges and then does middle areas.
I own 3 of those. One upstairs, one master suite, one rest of the house. They are fine as a refurb. Agree that their support is weird.
Battery charges very slow is my main complaint. Have the cheap Tacklife bot to compare - that one cleans, recharges and cleans again while the Ecovacs Deebot still is recharging.
What’s nice on the Deebot is the actual time of flight based depth sensor, recognizing carpet, and the auto-emptying station. I think at $169 it was a good deal at $149 I wouldn’t hesitate.
Of course technology advances and in 2 years you get the $599 machines of today for less than $200, too. But this one works fine until then.
Aftermarket consumables (brushes, bags, mop rugs, …) are easy to find online. It’s identical to some other bots in that sense.
Oh no, I didn’t notice refurbished until just now. IDK how I feel about a second hand vacuum.
I don’t want someone else’s bed bugs or their animals fur, or their fleas eggs, or anything else I imagine to be in a refurbished vacuum! Even IF it’s only in my head, HECK NO!

More of a “slightly damp wipe” than mop.
