Actually, I'm on the east coast and I bought one before they sold out. If it was offered at 9pm, I would have been busy doing something else like being at the gym or in the shower or something. If you change the time to accommodate your schedule, you will make it worse for some other people. Making one person happy can make someone else unhappy.
Look at the map and notice that many people in the east coast bought some. You just need to change your life priorities if you plan on scoring the good stuff.
@phrogpond Are you new here? This topic is often discussed, and for us that have been here a while, it gets very tiresome. No time will work for everyone. If they did 9pm EST, it would be right during my commute home and then I would be screaming that is is no fair to the west coast.
Be grateful that The meh Powers decided to flip the item at midnight Eastern. rather than midnight Central like woot. And you might consider looking for duplicate threads before starting a new one?
