Better question…do they work with the Kenwood systems they just sold. Probably don’t have the right adapters, but if you are willing to splice some cables I bet it can be made to work…
@summetj I have the 200w version of these they sold a while ago. Works with the kenwood, but it does require an adapter cable. This is the cable I bought and it works with it, you use the barrel plug adapter to charge the kenwood: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F5W9V98M
@minuette@summetj I have the original adapter cable with the barrel plug that I bought on Amazon that I can send to you. I have the 200W panels and I wanted an adapter cable that could handle the maximum current for that panel, so I don’t need the original one anymore. Whisper me your address and I’ll send it out next week.
@minuette@summetj BTW the barrel plug is 8mm if you decide to make your own cable. Oh, and don’t automatically trust red to be + and black to be - on all the different wires and plugs!
Decent price.
Heavy duty, but also kinda heavy for a portable 100-watt panel.
Some 200-watters i have are about that weight (but a LOT) more expensive.
Getting a couple for when smaller will do and don’t want to risk my better ones to being banged around.
Warning about the hinges on these. I don’t know if Fedex broke them in shipping or I did because I let the panels hit the ground too hard. The hinges look like they’re made of cast aluminum and therefore don’t bend and are somewhat brittle. I replaced them with steel ones from Home Depot and all is well.
FYI, @jnicholson0619 ordered a Duracell panel and its hinges were broken almost exactly the way mine were. If you bought these, you might as well make that trip to your hardware store to buy new steel hinges before your panels arrive.
I’m happy with this solar panel. It’s HEAVY when compared to one of those “plastic” portable panels, because they are basically just two regular glass & aluminum frame solar panels with a hinge, a fold out stand, and a handle attached.
When plugged in they actually generated 90-101 watts of power in full sun (so I suspect the two panels are really each “60 watt” panel, because I’ve never gotten full rating power out of a solar panel before).

@summetj Actually, looking at the amazon listing, they changed it and it doesn’t come with the barrel plugs anymore… So that won’t work.
@minuette I’m sure I can rig something up with the cable that comes with it.
