Seriously, wondering if this one is compatible with the defective Dreametech I got in a recent IRK. I suspect it’s the battery that just doesn’t charge, but can’t tell for sure. The power adapter puts out correct charge voltage.
If this is like Dyson (clone) stuff, many times batteries and attachments are interchangeable. But not always at least in older models. Honestly the Dreametech stuff seemed pretty good quality borderline matching Dyson. I might actually buy this because I’d get a hopefully working system and be able to debug the IRK unit, which was basically new-broken-in-box.
EDIT but if I confirm it is the battery, it will probably cost as much for a new manufacturer battery as this entire unit.
@pmarin I was in the same boat. Got the same broken T30 in an IRK. Was thinking about grabbing this one and seeing if I could confirm it was the battery or not. However, after looking at the battery replacements it doesn’t look like they’ll be interchangeable :<
That said if we could confirm for sure it’s the battery a new one is around 60 bucks if you don’t mind going ebay
