@3Phen@pmarin Accepting that the gripes will happen (and inferring the unstated “with cause”) does not absolve the offended of their self-imposed obligation to rail against the umbric product.
In the past, it was quite a few people when microfiber showed up, tried to educate that it was made out of petroleum products and asked for cotton sheets, organic cotton sheets, actually. At least, please keep your eyes out. People are just dumping this on you or us.
This would have been a welcome buy about a month ago when we decided to chuck a number of old sheets. We found sets that have exotic birds and sushi instead (although not together on the same set), so I think we still came away with a win. Not price-wise. Sheets are expensive!
I’d still favor the expansion of hemp production and processing for fabric fiber feed stock, for all that it’s much more energy-intensive than cotton (and on par with flax/linen), if only because it typically requires far less in the area of pesticides for successful production.
In for a set.
Thinking guest room sheets - don’t want ANYone getting too comfortable…
3 Day rule for fish and houseguests, maybe these will help avoid the awkward “let me help you pack your bags” moment.

HOLY SHEET BATMAN!!!
Oh sheet!
GIVE ME BIG TV
Unless these sheets can talk, you mean “complement.”
@elpepe Typo reported. Who’s running the pool on the time until it’s fixed, and who’s taking the refresh-until-change watch?
Well, fart. Fixed already.
Gripes about plastic sheets starting in 6…5…4…3…2…
@werehatrack Gripe!
@werehatrack They pre-acknowledged the complaints in the writeup, diffusing part of their power.
@3Phen @werehatrack isn’t one of the first steps admitting you know there is a problem?

I think I’d prefer Dream Theater
@tweezak Pull Me under!
@Bumplepimp @tweezak I’m not afraid
Originally $100 for microfiber = WTF not MEH. I don’t care how much they are now. mEH is going to get canceled

Only 11" deep though. Sad day.
At least this is better than the time Meh sold a load of AAA batteries one day then a gadget that needed AA batteries the next day.
Serious Bull-Sheet…
Microfiber? No thanks. My temple… erm, I mean, body only sleeps on natural materials.
@arysta Asbestos!!
@arysta Granite is natural.
My granite bed with asbestos sheets is sooo comfy.
Ugh. Yuck.

cotton or GTFO
I love that microfiber’s definition isn’t tied to a particular synthetic, and the list of possible materials it’s made from includes kevlar.
I wouldn’t even sheet on these.

@YETB “Hey do you know why this room isn’t getting heat/cooling?”
“No idea. Have you tried comparing it with staying in a different room?”
