Draw Irk, Like One of Your French Girls (With Your Eyes Closed)
7It’s a Meh party classic! It’s sort of like pin the tail on the donkey.
That’s right, we’re gonna slap a blindfold on you, spin you around several times, arm you with a sharp pin, and send you roughly in the direction of said donkey.
At least we would, if we had that kind of power. Honestly, it’s probably for the best that we don’t.
So let’s do the closest thing to it. OPEN UP PAINT, CLOSE THOSE EYES, AND DRAW US IRK. Or Glen. Whichever you’re feeling.
Maybe you’ll get something if what you make ends up particularly good. Or if it’s particularly bad. I don’t know, I don’t make the rules.

Fail
@OnionSoup It’s the long lost “Irk, with a Hat” by Picasso
My ability is not that great w my eyes OPEN
Glen seemed easier, not easy enough.
@metaphore I love this, it should be on a shirt.
@metaphore Nice caterpillar!
Ugh I really wanted to cheat and open my eyes so it looks at least halfway decent, but I’m honest to a fault. So, here it is. My incredibly crappy irk attempt.
I’m getting a ton of use for my new app today. Maybe I’ll start doing actual art. Probably not.
@sammydog01 It’s an Irk plushie!
@sammydog01 It looks like Ned.
It’s Glen
Okay well, I accidentally drew the most booty-licious Irk ever, I think…
@user31820230 Ooh, correct posture and everything!
@user31820230 This is my favorite.
@user31820230 Hmmmm. Yes. Yes, I can see it. Belongs in a museum. You get a thing.
(Failed big time at their eyes.)
I accidentally opened my eyes before even trying to add eyes and mouth. Meh indeed.
Pretty bad, but better than expected:
What’s a drawing app that an iPhone would have?
@Star2236 I use toolwiz on an android. I don’t know if it’s on Apple. More for photo editing than drawing… But worked for this project.
@OnionSoup @Star2236 I picked up sketchbook this morning for my iPad. Looks like it’s on iPhone too. I used the free version, don’t let them stick you for two bucks.
@OnionSoup @sammydog01 @Star2236 If desperate, you could use whatever the built-in photo editing is…
(I’ve forgotten what iOS photo editing is like, though. It might not be quite that simple? One of our kids is always trying to steal Mom’s phone, take
stupidpictures, then draw on them, and then delete them before giving the phone back. All without the phone being unlocked. So it has something.)@OnionSoup @sammydog01 @Star2236 @xobzoo It would work on iOS. The whiteout wouldn’t be that tedious, just use a white square/box/rectangle.
HAhaha. Even though he looks like some disfigured train wreck, it’s still better than I expected. Desktop using a mouse and paint.

I just went for a head shot because I know my drawing skills are bad with my eyes open.
@Star2236 I opened “Pages” on my iPhone 12, took a screenshot of a blank page and saved it to my photos. Then I went in and edited the “photo” with the marker tool. Results - meh, but it worked!
Shit. I hope I never lose my eyesight. I suck at this.
In all honesty, I doubt I’d do better with eyes open. Not an artist.
My wife might have coached me through this one (and helped with color selections. It’s uncanny
@capguncowboy Honestly, it’s the unexpected Thanos chin that does it for me. You get a thing.
@ThomasF I’m honored!
Lots of people are obviously cheating here, lol.
I only opened my eyes before adding the black color fill-ins and to crop the edges a bit:
Ugh. I can’t draw worth a shit with my eyes open. This is even worse than I thought it would be, though.
I know it’s bad, but I tried.
I Glen!
Mine were definitely done with my eyes closed.
@Star2236 I would never have guessed …
Glen attempt, with additional colors added post-production:
Bonus artwork attempt.
“The
MethMeh Lover”@ybmuG Irk looks like his face is giving us the finger
And i think Glenn is moving so fast he’s outrunning his stripes
I closed my eyes and drew @matthew’s hand. (Aka Irk)
I had to try an irk too. I’m really bad at this.
Not sure if I’ve figured out how to copy a picture into this but here goes:
… Nope
Okay figured it out.

Ahahaha I definitely did better on the paper version.
@brainmist
@brainmist I would guess on paper you have a larger area, plus the extra tacticle sensation given by a pen. I just tried it out on paper… and whereas its not perfect it is somewhat recognizable… compared to my attempt on my phone that just looks like random lines.
@brainmist . Vs
