Does meh even have a support team?
1I hit these people up 3 days ago after Fedex delivered 2 of my purchases to the wrong address. I just get an auto response that tells me the packages were delivered. well they were delivered to someone else on my dime. I contact Fedex, Fedex tells me to contact meh.com which results in absolutely nothing. so it looks like I will just have to stop wasting my $$$ here, and will have to dispute the charges on the 2 misdelivered shipments. has anyone here ever got a response from support that isn’t some ai generated bullshit?

Yes.
It’s a site that sells nothing but garbage and you’re expecting customer service lol. It’s like buying as is products. Enjoy the charge back.

The few hiccups I’ve had have been handled in a stellar fashion. Obviously YMMV.
They’ve always given me rather exceptional customer service.

Can’t get anyone to help or even respond to my emails. Guess it’s time to file a Complaint with the Better Business Bureau and contact my credit card company! DON’T BUY from Meh.com Absolutely NO Customer Service!
@JRBennettKing Sorry bout that. It’s our busiest time of the year. I found your ticket and have responded.
Customer support has always been good for me. They even have a sense of humor as proven by the carafe incident.
Their customer service is far superior to anything they sell. It’s also Christmas and everyone is ordering all the things. Y’all are some impatient ass folks. I get that it’s inconvenient and frustrating, but typically the issue is with FedEx and not meh. Also remember that FedEx and all the carriers are inundated with a deluge of shite for the merry season. Maybe take a deep breathe, meditate and practice patience instead of throwing a virtual tantrum.
As the Englishman likes to say, “opinions are like arseholes. Everyone has one, and everyone else’s stinks!”
@sillyheathen
…damn… And I thought I was the only one that used that phrase!
I’m on it. I’ve responded to your original ticket.
Honestly, I’ve had an amazing experience with customer support here. It’s the reason I keep coming back.
@user34291284 I’ve had a recent similar experience with Fedex: they made a mistake on a redirecting of a package and told me I had to contact the merchant, i.e., I (and the merchant) had to fix their mistake. WTH has happened to Fedex? They used to be the top of the heap for quality of service. Oh, and Meh customer service has been really good for me when I’ve needed them.

It’s a crap shoot, depending on where you live.
I sent my D&SIL a box of stuff I got for them at worldcon. It was the right size for a USPS medium box. It showed as delivered on a Friday. Nothing in their mailbox, including a key. We waited the week per the USPS website, still nothing. So I put in a claim, with all the receipts. It was denied because it showed delivered. I appealed. 4 weeks to the day after it showed delivered, they key for the parcel box showed up in their mailbox. By then my appeal was denied but they got the box.
No clue where it was for 4 weeks.
I think none of them give decent service overall. Until right before thanksgiving my vote was UPS did the best. but now I put them in the toilet, or trash, where my Canadian meat pie went cause they held onto it for too many days and it wasn’t even cool anymore
@Cerridwyn I remember a funny misdirected package situation with UPS and Peet’s Coffee. UPS delivered the package to a completely different address in a different town from me. I called UPS and they said it was delivered, sort of implying “so what’s the problem?” I asked them to look at the address it was supposed to be shipped to (mine) and where it was delivered… silence… then “you’ll have to contact the merchant and they can handle it, maybe refund or reship.” UPS wouldn’t simply go over to where they delivered it, pick it up, and deliver it to me. Peet’s did the best they could: shipped me two pounds of a different coffee to replace the misdirected one pound of a limited edition coffee they were out of, but it sucked for them to cover UPS’s mistake and for me to not be able to get the special coffee I wanted. I was tempted to drive over to the other place myself and ask for my package!
@ItalianScallion sounds about right
Hopefully, it wasn’t an IRK that Fed Ex lost. I enjoy receiving those. I’ve never experienced poor customer service from Meh, even when they were Woot. Mistakes happen, but it looks like they are making it right
Meh CS is “the good stuff”, performed by good people.
Excellent in my (limited) experience, but it’s a really, really hard time of year for CS in ecomm. And the industry in general, but not likely the issue here.
I just went through a delivery nightmare. I ordered a special hoodie for my husband’s birthday; 2 weeks before I would be needing it. The company was good about keeping me updated on the delivery
but they used some ‘Off brand’ delivery service. The delivery service said they couldn’t deliver the package because there was “No Such Address “! What! I live in Chicago, in a 100+ year old house that has had the same address for about 100 years. I’ve lived here since 1979! I know I entered the correct address for delivery it matches the billing address which you need before they confirm your order. I’ve never have had issues with any legitimate delivery service USPS, UPS, DHL, FedX, Amazon & DoorDash never have a problem.
Mysteriously the package showed up two days later after my complaint. I think the delivery person didn’t feel like delivering the package because it was scheduled for thanksgiving day.
/showme leafless tree wearing badge that says “meh support team” is answering phone and responding “I am meh” to all questions.
@mediocrebot (because trees are “supports”)
@mediocrebot? Don’t you think our lonely November goat @cfg83 is reaching just a little here? I’ll abide by your decision.
Most likely
/8ball Is @cfg83 reaching just a little?
@mediocrebot thank you, I knew you’d be tough, but fair.
@mediocrebot @therealjrn THERE’S AN 8-BALL ESCAPE SEQUENCE?!?!?!
/8ball Does the 8ball sequence reveal the future?
Don’t count on it
