Does anyone here do advanced screenings of movies?
0Where you get notifications and go see a movie (for free) before it's officially released? We've been doing it for a little over a year now and have seen about twenty-four movies. There are a lot of places to sign up for them.
Last night we saw "The Equalizer". My visits to Home Depot will never be the same. Great movie.

There is a site called GoFobo that does advanced screenings. I get invited to some of those. Random movies though.
I find a good number through yelp. I also use http://www.advancescreenings.com/
I used to do this a lot more often, but it's getting harder and harder to find to gofobo codes.
@all_hail_me How do you do this with Yelp?
@lisaviolet Click on "Events" at the top of the page, then filter by film. In my area there are occasionally Advanced screenings listed which have gofobo codes attached.
@all_hail_me Thanks!
http://advancescreenings.com/ sends you notifications of contests and links to screenings in your area.
http://www.getscreening.com/ notifies you of direct links to get in to see movies.
This month we've seen The Maze Runner and A Walk Among the Tombstones as well as The Equalizer.
Unfortunately there aren't many offered in my community. Guess we aren't a buzz-generating market. But I'll check out these links.
