Does anyone have a copy of The Complete Family Cookbook? (Necropost)
4Took out my grandmother’s cookie press to make spritz cookies. Husband knocked it off the counter. Ended up a blessing in disguise as we found 2 notes in the box instructing me to use the recipe on page 118 of TCFC (yes, would’ve been nice if one of those notes was the recipe instead). Called the parents and they don’t have it. Hoping that a mehtizen may have a copy and be willing to share the recipe.

There’s something fishy about that title, but I just can’t quite put my tentacle on it.

@blaineg JAWS!!!
I don’t have it but I found it on Etsy for like $25.00. I’m almost curious enough to buy it for the recipe on 118.
@kjady it’s just spritz cookies
@j2 Notes from Grandmas are ignored at your own peril. They must be bomb spritz cookies.
I found my mother’s hand written recipe. No idea where she got it from. I still have the cookie press but don’t make them anymore.
Under $10 on ebay (poshmark is more), at least one is make offer

Try a library search? Or even a Google Books search?

This search for a book inspired me to renew my effort to find a textbook that was written by my History of Aviation professor after I graduated. I really enjoyed that old professor since he had lived through most of the history of powered flight. I hadn’t known he had written a textbook, but I’d come across an Amazon link while researching his life (he was a World War II double ace so there are some references to him on the 'Net). Unfortunately, the book was out of stock.
So yesterday I went hunting again and I expect a copy to arrive by Friday! Thanks to @j2 and everyone else who supplied inspiration and ideas.

That could be tough to find. It’s hard enough to find the complete family, much less their cookbook.
hey I know this is really late but if you still need that recipe, I found a copy of the book at an estate sale and I’m willing to send you the recipe!
Calling @j2 the book book has been found by someone if you still need the recipe (see post above this one)
@m0thwings good looking out!
@m0thwings I should’ve updated the post in Jan. My SIL bought me a copy for Christmas… was very excited until I discovered that page 118 did NOT have a spritz recipe on it, so there must be many versions. I did try the spritz recipe in the book I got (assuming that it was the same in other versions) and of course the final product didn’t taste the same as I remembered. Thanks for thinking of me!
If the one @m0thwings has has the recipe on page 118, maybe it’s a slightly different recipe?
