My audio engineer friend told me that the theoretical ideal shape for a speaker was a sphere. When we made our subwoofers we did the next best thing which was a cylinder with end caps made of 1" MDF.
I've never hired a public speaker for an event but I wouldn't discriminate based on their shape. Pretty sure you should just go by their content. Besides who defines what's traditional? Round is a perfectly good shape.
This question reeks of a hidden ploy to find out what type of bluetooth speakers we would like to see down the road. The correct answer is no to all. Nothing would influence us to buy more speakers!
I think with all the Speaker Docks I have seen here in the past year, I have built up a Clockwork Orange effect and now I don't care for speaker docks at all......
My goto bluetooth speaker when i want to play music is a triangle
@axleman1011 Mine is it's little brother. Truly the best sounding speakers for the money. I love Cambridge Soundworks products.

@unksol Depends what they're speaking about.. If it's about weight loss or fitness, round is less idea.
It's really a function of what best fits in my rectum.
@defibrillator You like to blow it out your ass?
