Flower beds & hanging handrail plant boxes in the front yard/porch. Half of the backyard is a full on micro farm with tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, variety of lettuces. Hanging wall of herbs parsley, basil, oregano, rosemary & thyme…etc. Constantly fighting the bunnies and other urban wildlife. Now all the prep is getting started in the
inclosed back porch with lot of seed starter plats. When May arrives then the planting begins. It’s tricky in the upper middle west to know when to get thing in the ground because we can have all 4 seasons in a day!
Blueberries, strawberries, tomatoes and herbs. All kinds of flowering shrubs in the back. Spreading mulch all over this week. setting up the raised planters next week. Always busy spring, summer and fall.
Umm, yeah…
We have 30 rural acres in NW Oregon. 20 acres of (timber) tree farm, plus a large vegetable garden and mixed orchard.
This is a very busy season for us.
Not really. I just have a herd of cactus in pots.
@yakkoTDI
Best plants- if you’re careful not to overwater them.
I have some flower pots that live on our deck in warm weather. I also have watch chain succulents that grow like crazy.
@kjady I have some Life Saver cactus (cactus in name only) that grow really well.
Last year it was, Beefsteak tomatoes and grape tomatoes and cucumbers. I’ll try it again, if it stops effing snowing… gotta love New England
My garden is Central Park LOL
@hammi99 Seems like that is a lot of upkeep to deal with.
@hammi99 @yakkoTDI I hope hammi hires help.

My wife has the garden(er). I just pay the for the flowers.
@hchavers
You’re a better man than me… I’d get jealous if my wife “had the gardener”!
I have a yard, with some patches in it that aspire to gardenhood.
@Kyeh about the same. We have xeriscape in the desert.
@kittykat9180 Mine isn’t desert, but it’s the kind of yard where the pretty stuff is scattered around in random patches.
Too much garden.
