Hot tea when I'm sick. Iced tea and the little instant pouches you can add to cold water in the summer. But at home I drink soda, at work mostly water after a 16 oz cappuccino.
@Perkalicious - Sounds like a dichotomy, I associated your name with coffee drinking. You are allowed to have it both ways. I drink hot tea every day as well, but miss coffee every time I walk by the pot at work.
I'm a middle of the road snob when it comes to hot beverages. Coffee has to be from Tim Horton's(xl Double Double) tea, I buy Tetleys British Blend. ( after I noticed it was what all the Indian folks were buying) or Jasmine tea from a Chinese grocery. ( it has to come from China). Hot chocolate, swiss miss, w/ mini marshmallows.
( I also have strict opinions on peanut butter, jelly, macaroni & cheese, hotdogs, ketchup, and mustard if any one is interested) all middle of the road pedestrian brands, but I cannot waver from them. No substitutions acceptable.
@earlyre - Actually, looking at your list, I am just as particular about a few of those things. It's good to know what you like. But leave the marshmallows out of my cocoa, they're just slimy.
@KDemo Peanut Butter has to be Jif Crunchy ; Jelly - must be grape, brand doesn't matter ; I prefer Kraft Mac & Cheese (or Kraft Dinner for our Canadian freinds) to honest homemade from scratch Mac & Cheese, Hotdogs - Nathans ; Ketchup must be Heinz ; Mustard must be Plochman's (looks Like a little barrel)
I drink lots of iced tea (made with Tetley) Bigelow English breakfast is my usual hot tea choice, but sometimes I drink fancy teas like vanilla almond from the republic of tea. (I actually would like to have that more often, but it's $10 a tin, so I make it a special treat) So... yeah. I drink tea. :)
@Chrissyx3 That's the Jasmine tea i get as well, a new asian grocery opened in town, and they have it in Tea Bags. Slighty more convenient than a tea ball for a single cup.
1 - 2 cups of green tea per day, mostly teabags but sometimes loose tea. Favorites: Trader Joe's Jasmine Green Harney & Sons Tropical Green (num, pineapple) Bentley's Earl Grey Green in tins from Amazon. Also Celestial Seasonings Antioxidant Green Tea with Blackberry & Pomegranate in K-cups is awesome, but something about using those cups for tea seems wrong.
I switch off between coffee and tea for my caffeine addiction, which being dependent on my mood. My main teas are a genmaicha I get in bulk from the local Japanese grocer and David's Tea "kiss my lips" (a chocolate mint black tea) and "grape expectations" (a raisin-ed green tea). I have a bajillion-kajillion teas from which to choose when I don't feel like my main three, thanks to a client of my mother's that brings in little shopping bags full of sample pots every appointment. I can't even give this stuff away fast enough, much less drink it.
Which, uh, by the way? Lovely mehxchange recipient of mine? I really hope you like tea...
Lately I find that my teeth are too white, and a hot cup of tea provides just enough of a dull yellow-brown tinge to guard against random people approaching me to inquire about my radiant smile. I hate the taste of the crap, though.
I'll drink a cup of boring Lipton hot tea when I'm sick (which I actually am, at the moment) with some honey. But that's like twice a year, maybe.
I do drink a lot of store brand diet decaf iced tea, though.
@jsh139 ... Hey! Lipton tea isn't boring... Must be the water you're using.. Store brand diet decaf? You ARE adventuresome aren't you..
Coffee. Coffee coffee coffee.
@Headly ... Beer. Beer beer beer.
@Headly Whiskey. Whiskey whiskey whiskey.
@Shamburglar Well that can look like weak tea… just sayin'
@Headly @unkabob @Shamburglar all three of you are correct.
@Headly Coffee 'til noon. Beer 'til midnight.
@PocketBrain ... That'll work..
@JonT ... But!... But I wanna be correcter...
Iced tea only. @Headly I agree with the coffee, but it has to be good coffee of single origin. Kenya AA is my daily fix.
@PyxienTX Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Natural Misty Valley

Tea is about the only thing I drink. I quit drinking soda pop about 8 years ago.
@theco2 I quit drinking soda November 2013 and have lost 50 lbs since and drink nothing but tea.
@rileyper That's awesome. I haven't lost any weight, but I don't really need to.
Bleh
I drink a lot of hot tea. Which means I already own more devices that make water hot than I really need. Who can I gift this to...?
@Perkalicious - Sounds like a dichotomy, I associated your name with coffee drinking. You are allowed to have it both ways. I drink hot tea every day as well, but miss coffee every time I walk by the pot at work.
@KDemo I love the smell of coffee, but whenever I cave and drink it, my stomach gets so mad at me.
Iced tea w vodka - poor man's speedball lite.
Coffee, coffee, coffee, iced tea, coffee, iced tea, beer, bourbon, repeat (I call it a weekday, YMMV)
@Duneatic ... Hic..!!

@earlyre - OCD much? ;-)
@KDemo only on certain things.... I'm no where near Sheldon Cooper Levels.

@earlyre Nathan's hot dogs blow all others out of the water. Only the best for the National Hot Dog Eating Contest.

I drink 4 - 5 cups of hot tea with milk and sugar each and every day. Guessing approx. 90,337 cups in my life so far.
This is the only tea I ever drink. I drink it black. ♥
@Chrissyx3 That's the Jasmine tea i get as well, a new asian grocery opened in town, and they have it in Tea Bags. Slighty more convenient than a tea ball for a single cup.
@Chrissyx3 That has a home in my tea cupboard as well (yes, it's an entire cupboard).
@earlyre oooo teabags? I didn't know they made em as tea bags! I have the inguinitea pot from thinkgeek. It's really useful.
I like English Breakfast tea, and most others except for green tea- I think that tastes like sawdust (but I will drink Lipton Green tea w/ ginseng).
@dashcloud You should try Irish Breakfast. It's like English Breakfast, only stronger.
@emmons88 you mean with booze, right?
@Thumperchick I would never tell somebody NOT to drink booze at breakfast, but I was referring to the actual Irish Breakfast blend.
@emmons88 Would be interested in trying it- will look for it when I am out in the future.
@emmons88 If you've got a favorite breakfast booze drink, I'd be interested in that. Thanks!
@dashcloud
Either cheap black tea or loose tea (like Samurai Chai Mate or Oolong tea). Tea helps me from crashing off of coffee.

@KDemo I've used a friend's Keurig to make tea in the past. Seemed like the highest priced way to make tea... But pretty handy.

I use to, but now I switched to coffee. Still have a canister of tea bags on the counter and the tea pot still lives on the stove.
Not sure why.
If you think you want to work up a sweat without exercising, try drinking a hot cup of tea on a hot August night!
Lately I find that my teeth are too white, and a hot cup of tea provides just enough of a dull yellow-brown tinge to guard against random people approaching me to inquire about my radiant smile. I hate the taste of the crap, though.
Iced Iced Baby! .... Tea that is
Whole-leaf hot green tea with breakfast most mornings. The whole-leaf can be steeped a bunch of times, so a bag lasts a long time.
Surely I do!! Tea is a great beverage that can either warm you or give u chill. I love begin my morning with black tea! :)
Hot tea? All the time. Early Grey specifically. Iced tea? Not so much. I can't seem to ever get it cold enough.
