I've been carrying multiple tools my entire career. I just can't bring myself to fire them and every now and then they do something useful and for a brief and shining moment I'm glad I have kept them . . . Plus, they're grateful and they do the shit I don't want to do . . . So, there's that.
I've got one that I use regularly in the bedroom, the bathroom, and sometimes even on the couch or the comfy chair. I wouldn't replace it for the world.
@SSteve not really but sometimes I needed to make quick fixes while waiting for someone qualified to do a proper repair. These days IT and/or Facilities would have kittens if I pulled out a multitool to jury rig something. :D
Does all the various knifes that I've grabbed on here count? I have a knife for each finger so it's kinda like a multitool. If by multitool you means multiknives.
Although I do have a leatherman wave I tend to keep nearby.
@jqubed For future reference, if you put the URL to just the image, it would post the image instead of a link. Sometimes more convenient and people don't always like clicking links.
@jqubed I have the same and love mine, comes in very handy - scored from a DoD Website a long time ago (may have been woot!) - it holds a hell of an edge if you work at sharpening it and sneaks by the TSA and all security checkpoints IME (arena security, etc..). I don't know why they don't look at keys more closely.
@gio Bummer - I hope she got another one! I fly often (for work), and all over the world, and after really thinking about it the only place I can remember that I've had it looked at twice was in Israel, and I removed it and placed in my my checked baggage - guess I have been lucky. Otherwise, it's never been an issue. I don't carry it with car/house/door keys, which may make a difference - it is on my ring that has all the keys for our TSA approved locks for luggage and production gear. If they ever snatch it, I'll buy another - it is very handy.
@Pavlov I don't think she replaced it because she was afraid she'd just forget to take it off the next time and get it confiscated again. Besides that, she is already carrying around a large number of keys related to various obligations, so she is now looking for ways to lighten the load rather than add to it. She's pretty resourceful though, so she'd probably manage to find an alternative "tool" in a pinch.
I carry one of these (in addition to a Swiss Army knife) because I thought it would be good to always have wire-strippers on hand.
After carrying it for three or four years without needing to strip any wires, we were visiting my mom earlier this month and her dog had chewed through the wires to her speakers. Leatherman Squirt to the rescue!! She thought I was brilliant. But she's my mom so she's always said that.

@Pavlov They asked about multitools, not minions.
@clarinetbob
@Pavlov Remind me to not apply at your company if you're ever hiring.
@jqubed . . . At least you'd know you wouldn't get fired. :P
Sorry - couldn't resist the open door.
@Pavlov Hmmm, sounds more like you're the tool here.
@PocketBrain Maybe . . . certainly it's a tough call.
@Pavlov naww, you're okay. Unless you keep them around just to ensure their misery first hand. ;-)
@PocketBrain Well . . . .
Leatherman Wave (older style). I use it almost every day at work.
@duodec Ditto. Don't go a day without mine.
@Aquaman I have to do without when I have to work in chicago. They think its knife blade is too scary. But otherwise its always on my belt.

@torquewench Crude, and I see you have the compact model.
I used to carry a Leatherman multitool and a Spyderco knife when I worked in the field but now I just carry a knife in the office.
@nadroj Yow. Sounds like a rough place to work.

Does a Victorinox Swiss Army knife count? If so, yes, for many years.
My labcoat is incomplete without one.

Does my Utili-Key 6-in-1 count?

@Pavlov My daughter forgot to take it off her keyring and had it confscated by TSA the first time she went through security after getting it.

@jqubed if this does, I suppose so. https://meh.com/deals/wallet-ninja-18-in-1-pocket-tool

Leatherman wingman.
So much so that I found a plane-legal one when I started flying more. God bless Swiss+Tech. 19-in-1 and no knife. Suck on that, TSA!
I carried a leatherman for more than 30 years at work. It now stays in the car, with a second in the desk at home.
I got a leatherman (I forget what model) for Christmas back in...either 99, or 2000... not sure where it is now.
a couple weeks after i got the leatherman, we found out that Gerber is one of the product lines my Uncle is a sales rep for....who knew?

I carry a Gerber Artifact on my keys with a Swiss tech multi tool , plus a large Dewalt multi tool.
Gerber SP 600
Over time I just hate dinkey little multi-tools that cant do much.
