Looks impressive. Only saw it on TV. Too bad. Of course the Roswell wingnuts probably have claimed to captured the alien creatures that they think were riding it across our sky as a way to sneak onto earth.
@Kidsandliz That’s ridiculous. Aliens don’t ride meteors to Earth. The meteors are the tech they use to distract us while the real ship lands a couple miles away.
@alphapeaches
Highly doubt it. It was already low to the horizon in Illinois. Plus, considering it has to be in the Earth’s atmosphere for this, it would be obscured by the curve of the Earth and mountains.
I saw a video of the meteor. Does that count?
On the part of the news where they show brief parts of what’s coming up, I saw the streak. It wasn’t from a dashcam, so it didn’t show date/time.
Didn’t end up watching it on the news, so it kinda went away from my mind.
@PlacidPenguin
@moondrake.
That’s wild.
@f00l @moondrake
Shame it wasn’t a Bluetooth meteor.

@SSteve I hope you are on it then as I live too far away. Keep us posted. : )
I saw a really long shooting star about a week ago, might have been that. Think I would’ve seen it from California?

I have seen many things in the sky but not this. I live in Kansas so that would be kind of impossible
@boredashell you mean like clouds, birds, planes? these king of things?
@Yoda_Daenerys all of the above but I can recall several instances where I was left completely baffled with no explanation.
nope, didn’t see it
Uh-uh. Not me.
The local Pizzeria sells a “Meteor Pizza.” Does that count?
Ham, sausage, bacon, hamburger, pepperoni…
