@yakkoTDI, you would have ta have hands a lot smaller than Mr Drumpf’s & an even smaller Johnson to fit in these! They are less than 1 inch in diameter, JSYK!!
@lowlypeon I had such high hopes that all of it would vanish into the Stella Carmina domain, but here we are, approaching Buy Nothing Day, and it has crept out of its hole again.
@jjoye, These are a Much Better deal & only $20 more, or $6 more with the coupon for a ½ Caret more & Yes, the metal IS Sterling Silver + meh members gets Free Shipping if ya get Free Shipping here!!
@1DisabledWarVet@jjoye I feel like it’s worth pointing out that lab-grown diamonds are identical to earth-mined diamonds in every way, except that they are grown in a lab. They have the same chemical, physical, and optical properties as mined diamonds and exhibit the same fire, scintillation, and sparkle. The real difference is that lab-grown doesn’t require mining which isn’t always safe.
@ExtraMedium@jjoye, & I only mentioned the ones at Morning Save because one would get 2x, or twice the carets for not much more + the same free shipping!!
BTW, as I checked out Walmarts comparison earings, I found 14k & 10k White Gold, Rose Gold & Gold earings for about the same price & No they aren’t the cheap gold plated version. This was to give everyone more choices & nothing more!! As far as the Walmart ones mentioned above, ya have 2B a Walmart+ member & may be only available during the Black Friday event on Nov 14 & Nov 21, and, of course, Friday the 25th! Please, excuse my long winded comment,…My Bad!!
@iluivatar Looking at the grades of the stones and the history of the reports about similar items on this group of sites, it’s pretty clear that the price of the item reflects pretty much the max that it might be worth. “Might” being the critical term there.
@werehatrack When I see deals like this I get confused about what makes the prices of jewelry go up and down. I thought the most expensive parts was the metal and gems. Is Walmart really marking theirs up that much?
@momcobb Yeah. But what about the working conditions?
I guess, at least one of the workers has to sleep at the factory, and on occasion had to start work before getting dressed.
@Pufferfishy Lucky lady. And good thing meh didn’t have a box of diet shakes on sale today. That would have been an awkward Christmas, probably the last one.
For purposes of comparison, a penny is 20mm in diameter and 1.5mm thick at its greatest. These are 3/4 of the diameter of a penny, and narrower. Obviously, the diamonds are not going to be much more than the size of medium grains of sand. Expecting to get any “sparkle” from artifacts that small is pointless.
A dime approximates the width and diameter cited in the specs; look at a dime, and then look at those illustrations. One of these things is not like the other. Either the specs for the width are understated considerably, or the illustrations are not of the actual product. Given the proclivities of the low-price precious-stone suppliers, I’m betting more on the latter.
I guess not everyone knows that the diamond market is one that is manipulated by the giant DeBeers corp. They artificially inflate prices and make people think diamonds are rare, most are not. Their vaults are full of diamonds and they release them at a slow rate to keep the price inflated. There are some rare diamonds. Those DeBeers only gives to their best customers and again, they only let them out at a slow pace. Their customers get packages of diamonds and they have to accept the entire package or pass on it. While they don’t control the entire market, they control enough of it that others follow their lead in order to keep prices high.
As others have pointed out, these lab grown diamonds are real diamonds. They have the exact same properties as natural diamonds. You can’t say one is better than the other. The differences are only very slight in the way the crystals are form in nature and in a lab.

@yakkoTDI, you would have ta have hands a lot smaller than Mr Drumpf’s & an even smaller Johnson to fit in these! They are less than 1 inch in diameter, JSYK!!
/showme diamonds created in Frankenstein’s laboratory

@mediocrebot Not much of a comparison, is it.
/showme diamond handcuffs, sparkling, with banana for scale
@mediocrebot That is a funny banana.
@mediocrebot @PooltoyWolf, yeah & a tiny banana too!! Maybe it’s a baby nanner, Or a Lab Created one!!
Less than 4 score, and they are for scores.
(Yes, I know score is for years not dollars, but bucks would really give the wrong idea.)
/showme evil scientist creating diamonds in a laboratory, black and white, high contrast
@awk or Bono!
@awk @bee1doll nah, the glasses aren’t tinted
/showme lab-created diamonds on top of a scale made of bananas, lady wearing real diamonds watching and laughing, in a jewelry shop
Yeah, never buying jewelry from Meh again.
@lowlypeon I had such high hopes that all of it would vanish into the Stella Carmina domain, but here we are, approaching Buy Nothing Day, and it has crept out of its hole again.
/showme angry spouse, wearing wedding ring not made of blood diamonds, in living room

Is the gift box lab-grown as well?
@mcanavino No. Slave labor all the way.

MorningSave has “Brilliant Diamonds 1 Carat TW Genuine Diamond Hoop Earrings” for $85 w/ coupon code FALL15:

@ExtraMedium Agreed. I only mentioned it because I know some people still prefer mined diamonds.
@ExtraMedium @jjoye
I didn’t realize that they were the same exact thing so I thank you for that info!
@ExtraMedium @jjoye, & I only mentioned the ones at Morning Save because one would get 2x, or twice the carets for not much more + the same free shipping!!

@jjoye Brilliant is not a word that belongs in the description of diamonds of those grades.
@1DisabledWarVet @jjoye The reviews on morning save are concerning.

I’m glad I’m not all that fond of jewelry.
@werehatrack When I see deals like this I get confused about what makes the prices of jewelry go up and down. I thought the most expensive parts was the metal and gems. Is Walmart really marking theirs up that much?
@ExtraMedium @jjoye
I prefer mind diamonds.
That may be the lamest meh face ever, can I say mehest?
@somf69
You just did!
@somf69 Thou mayest.
Meh.
I would rather have some hand made earrings than massed produced stuff.
But I’m biased, cause I make hand made jewelry.
@momcobb Yeah. But what about the working conditions?
I guess, at least one of the workers has to sleep at the factory, and on occasion had to start work before getting dressed.
Sorry, no hoopla here.
Nothing says “you mean the world to me” like minuscule fake diamonds from a close-out website.
@Pufferfishy Lucky lady. And good thing meh didn’t have a box of diet shakes on sale today. That would have been an awkward Christmas, probably the last one.
One thing I’ve learned from meh is that you never trust their “diamonds.”
Got a “diamond” necklace that was pure plastic last year.
@BaxterStockman Link to sale page please.

@adr5 debeers used to be what you state, they are no longer even top 5. Its almost all Russian companies now.

@mediocrebot What happened to the diamonds?
Did you sell out?
@mediocrebot @phendrick
Diamond-shaped patch on its back?
I like the pink ears.
Though I am not in the market for any diamond earrings today, I enjoyed the writeup and thought it was worth the visit. Cheers!
When I get diamonds they’re not just half a carat, but usually four to six inches.
Some are 1000, some are 1500 grit.
Didn’t fit through my wife’s piercings, had to return them.
