Makes me wonder.. around how long ago did people stop learning or using cursive? Are there younger folks on this forum that consider this logo to be 'mindblowing, how all of the letters are connected and stuff'?
I was surprised to learn that my child's school doesn't teach it anymore.
Years ago I worked in customer service, where I read customer written mail and responded accordingly. Elderly customers had the worst chicken-scratch tiniest handwriting ever. Every letter looked the same.
I must admit that as much as I feel like cursive is an art that all should learn, I'm happy to know that perhaps those letters will be written more legibly in the future.
I learned cursive. Only thing I write cursive now is my signature. What a waste of time that was, eh? The logo is very similar to some others though...can't place it...something that is red text...
It's actually more then a pretty way to write. It helps kids w/ hand/ eye coordination and a bunch of other stuff I can't remember. Obviously it worked out well for me.

They'll be more legible because they'll all be typed! O'course by then the kids will have switched so some other medium...
Or they'll be speaking in texting jargon that I won't understand for other reasons
My daughter learned cursive in third grade last year, so it's still being taught in some schools, at least.

Seconding that my name is the only cursive I know. And, are you thinking of epicurious?
No, seems like it was some electronics site. Cursive seems to be the thing now. Pintrest, Instagram, and such.
It was actually a custom commissioned logo, I'm a big fan of it for how meh it is.
You might be thinking of Veer, that has a nearly identical logo.
Wow, this freaked me out.
I'm glad cursive is being phased out. My handwriting is terrible. Typing rocks!
I still use cursive! Mostly when I'm writing thank you notes to customers or a postcard to my grandmother. (Shut up, she loves getting postcards.)
I know cursive. Hell, Damn, Ass. See -- cursive.
