@AaronLeeJohnson I think maybe - the “unique” thing about this product is the molds - they snap around the sides instead of being a regular fill and dump mold, so the shape is supposed to hold better when you open the mold. The sand is probably the same stuff as kinetic sand. If it stays erect, it’s a stiffer mix because kinetic sand doesn’t really hold shapes or build structures very well. There’s another brand called like Mind Matter or something like that I like better, it holds shapes better.

My parents might take us out to do things or play a board game. Sometimes they’d show us how to do “grown-up” things like helping in the kitchen or out in the yard. But they never joined us in playing with toys.
@Kyeh Yes, same thing with my parents! Now with my grandson and myself, THAT’S A DIFFERENT STORY! I get right down there on the floor with him (even when I’d have no clue how on earth I was going to get back up ) and play with him for hours! And that’s only because I lost track of time having so much darn fun!

I know, I get jealous of the stuff kids have now days that I didn’t. I would loved to have played with this. My sandcastles looked nothing like this and I got bored rather quickly.

I was worried about that when I bought it for my nephews the first time, but the stuff is extremely easy to clean up. It’s not like regular sand that gets everywhere at all. Even Anakin Skywalker would fall in love with kinetic sand.
Fyi, this is probably silicone-based like most kinetic sand products which means if you wear a silicone ring or use with silicone coated mats/tools it’ll stick like crazy and be really hard to clean the grit off
