Counties are weird things.
2How many of you didn't know you could click the map to see a county-by-county breakdown of who's buying this crap?
I'm in Nevada county, the second one above the CA/NV corner (and is vaguely shaped like a gun). There aren't a whole lot of people in Nevada county. So far, I've only seen one day when I didn't buy something but my county was filled in.
Who comes up with the layout of counties, anyway? They look pretty haphazard and illogical to me.

I see a hammer, not a gun. This could be some sort of psychological test. "What do you see in this county's shape?" Unless you're talking about the one that looks like mirrored Utah.
@jqubed I'm not sure we're looking at the same thing. You might be looking in Nevada. Nevada County is in California. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nevada_County,_California
@SSteve Ah, yes, I was looking at where California, Nevada, and Arizona meet. Nevada County does indeed look like an old pistol.
@SSteve Do they get pissy if you don't pronounce "Nevada" weird like they do in the state?
@editorkid Well, we were Nevada before they were, so if they pronounce it differently it's they who are saying it wrong.
@jqubed That county is actually a minature mirror dimension of Utah. The most popular religion there is Nomromism.
@harrison Am I correct in assuming that is named Hatu County, too?
According to the map, in TX, Denton county is outselling Tarrant county. That is just.... weird.
I thought it was a map of New Jersey.
Yeah, I discovered early on that I can change the color of my county (and I'm in a very populated county). Makes me feel so powerful.
The county map is nearly an easter egg with current UI. Hopefully it becomes more obvious someday.
I think It'd be pretty cool to see a time elapse video of this on a popular day.
This would be neat. Though on a day when 32 items are sold, it might be a little... boring. On a side note, today, while typing out meh.com I ended up typing meth.com. Worst deal a day site ever.
