This looks like something that I would spend more time chasing after than I would enjoying its warmth. I don’t want to work that hard just to keep from getting cold.
Seems like a good item to have in the trunk for when I get really messed up on quaaludes and total my car in a corn field during winter and can’t manage to walk until next morning.
@brennyn Yes and no. Yes, in that it packs small and is quite warm for the size and weight. No, because you shouldn’t leave it scrunched in it’s stuff sack for months on end as the down will compress and lose it’s loft (and warmth).
@brennyn@tgsherer2 It’s not infinitely re-fluffable. My fancy down camping gear all came with a packable stuff sack and a much larger (10x+) sack for everyday storage.
Speaking as a Florida Man, I have to vehemently disagree with the copy. Mainly,
“High 40s, low 50s is perfect weather to wear a nice sweater and a pair of jeans while running some errands.”
My friend, that is when we bundle up inside in a blanket and crank up the heat. I only go out in those frigid temperatures if I must for work (thankfully, that only happens four weeks a year, tops).
Disappointed in the size and flatness for the cost. I got it as an emergency blanket to store in the car. I will but it wasn’t at all what I expected and not as pictured.
Mine was great until some liquid spilled on it and I washed it, on gentle. It took me a half hour to get all the fill out of my machine as the blanket just fell apart.

Be careful when you throw down.

@phendrick

Look up reflective safety blanket. This may save your life someday!!!
Look up “smelly farts” it’s exactly what you think
Now you can throw down your down throw.
Is the Concierge Collection suppose to be something special? Just sounds like I’m going to be ignored again.
@hchavers fancy in HSN speak?
interesting that the order code kinda matches the item

All ready to go join the camp under the bridge.

Too small to use as a blanket, and it’s slippery and would not stay on even the parts that were covered. Pass.

@katbyter Yeah…4’ x 5’ just doesn’t work for me either.
@katbyter But, as a throw? As a 6’ male, I understand, but as a throw in old house, or for my younger daughter - it will be fine!
@katbyter Slightly bigger than a crib blanket. That stopped me too.

Meh, thank you for this:
Country of Origin: Imported
@gertiestn Maybe they meant “In Portugal”?
@gertiestn I’ve never been to Imported, what’s the cuisine like?
@blaineg @gertiestn ‘Imported’ as in English, German, Chinese, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Swedish, ‘Mexican’, Brazilian, Middle Eastern, Morrocoan, Ethiopian, et al.
@tgsherer2
I think you missed the joke.
I’m allergic to down so no thought required.

@brennyn Bill Cosby can put it on you to keep you warm

@brennyn @ninkumpoop And if these have been sitting in a warehouse for two years already…
@brennyn @ninkumpoop Down fluffs back up.

@brennyn I have something similar that I keep in my car. I have not had a prroblem with longterm stuff sack storage for it. And it is quite warm.
Because I like shiny things.

@uvassassin Is he still waiting for his bidet to ship? (And isn’t that a spare roll on the tank lid?)
@uvassassin Who is your best friend? Spandex. Spandex is your best friend.

@Weboh Some years, four days, at least in Miami.
@Weboh @werehatrack Yes, beware of frostbite!
@Weboh I don’t think anything good has ever followed “Speaking as a Florida man”…
@Weboh As a Minnesota man, high 40s low 50s is shorts weather!
@Weboh Speak for yourself. This native Florida boy is usually still wearing shorts at those temps.
Great trunk liner ?
@yakkoTDI - care to weigh in?
@detailer @macromeh They are ok. They stain too easily with makeup.
Price of heating this winter, you might want to stock up.
@Springbank You could buy a zillion of them and sew them together into a big patchwork quilt you could hang on the walls to insulate the house.

@MaudeLee A bit underfluffy, I’m guessing?
Completely flat even after trying to fluff it and leaving it out to revive.
