@IndifferentDude Um, maybe or not. First dict. def. for “tact” is “touch”, so if you can be “in touch” then you could also be “in tact”, imo. So, is the mirror possibly “in touch” or not?
Or, is it just me not in touch?
Whatever…
@rumpkin@whogots From the Amazon reviews, it does look like micro USB. The person who took the photo said theirs came without the cord which is supposed to be included.
@accelerator@EvilSmoo The copywriter was likely partying at a bar, said, “Oops look at the time.”, logged in remotely on their phone, first draft was last draft and there you have it.
This is a GREAT lighted mirror. I don’t remember if I got mine via Meh or Sidedeal a couple of years ago, but it works very well. It has three brightness levels and charges through micro USB and doesn’t need a recharge for a few months—but I don’t use it for more than 5-10 minutes each day. I usually use it to put on a little makeup and not have to turn on the big, overhead bathroom light or the big light over my bathroom sink. (Another helpful use that I appreciate is that it can be used as a flashlight when storms knock out our electricity.)

Yes! Damaged box for my damaged face!!
“Mirror mirror on my desk …”
“Do I look fat in this dress?”
I highly respect the randomness
Diameter?
Seconding. I have a very narrow counter next to my sink and many broken mirrors to show for it
@spatialdrift the Walmart page has it listed as 10.2” W 16” H / Base: 5.75”
Diameter would probably be a little less than that 10.2” since that’s counting the brackets on the sides.
Note to copywriter(s): “intact” is 1 word!
@IndifferentDude Besides which, mirrors are pretty tactless.

@IndifferentDude let it go – how else will we differentiate between the amazing copywriters and the machines that want to steal their jobs?
Who’s bright idea was this?
Wanna talk about the type of charging port, bud? Or shall I just assume it’s a barrel connector I’ll forget to label and instantly lose?
@whogots Probably micro USB.

Can’t even put how it recharges?
That said, some things need batteries, like portable gear. Some do not. Like mirrors.

I feel attacked about the Apple boxes.
@falcon5292 i was going to say I still own every box to every Apple product I’ve owned since 2010,
@falcon5292 @pmarin And I’m not even a Millennial.
@falcon5292 @TheFLP In their defense I will say the boxes are very pretty and made of renewable materials.
What size of rechargeable battery and is it removable to replace plus charge method?
Per Wal-Mart listing:
8.5-inch mirror
10-inch Round Mirror
3-foot white USB cord
USB Rechargeable: Lithium battery-lasts up to 3.5 hours
So now you know more or less than before…
My theory is a container truck overturned & it damaged a shit-ton of these boxes. How do we know if the mirrors are damaged? Buy them of course!
@Joedetroit I much prefer the “office manager/move the pallet of mayonnaise jars” hypothesis
@pchops ohhh yeah, that makes sense. A pallet full.
Nickel is spelled two different ways in the write up.
@EvilSmoo is this an indication of human error or machine? As was pointed out and I noticed as well, intact is written as in tact.
@accelerator @EvilSmoo The copywriter was likely partying at a bar, said, “Oops look at the time.”, logged in remotely on their phone, first draft was last draft and there you have it.
@EvilSmoo robots will never fully replace human incompetence.
It has been a lot of misses for me, lately. Honestly, it is sort of a good thing. I was buying a lot of Meh crap for a while there.

@rvhudson thanks for this, I was wavering!
