Cashiers behind buffet style sneeze guards
4This is an idea for a blog post that I don’t have time to do now. I’m putting it here to remind me and to let it ferment.
You can ignore me (like that isn’t always an option: )) it help ferment the idea. It may or may not turn into an actual post.

When I went through a fast food drive-through a few days ago they had a piece of plexiglass bolted across the top half the window to largely serve this function.
The grocery stores here have done that. Was also in one yesterday that had cut off the cross aisles and has made the main aisles directional.
@ybmuG I was in Aldi a few days ago where they also put up directional signs. I’d say 75% of the customers ignored them. Kind of fun to see them back away from me though since I was still wearing my scrubs.
@cinoclav @ybmuG I need to get a set of black scrubs. And a black head cover thing like they use at the hospital.
@cinoclav @ybmuG
No Amazon, this isn’t what I meant.
Yep, that seems to be more popular locally as well. I noticed they had put up plex over the windows for the pharmacy at the local WM too. While there is possibly some argument as to the total effectiveness of that process, I think it certainly can’t hurt.
@chienfou Our post office has hung (and then trimmed to the correct length) clear shower curtains between them and us.
My Mrs. works for a local grocery store. She’s been making masks for several weeks for many of her co-workers…(She’s quite a quilter, so has lots of fabric around.) Now the owners of the chain of grocery stores are making it mandatory that all employees wear masks while the employees are on the clock. Not sure how this is going to work, as I don’t believe they’re providing any masks for their employees…just expecting them to make their own. I already told her that she’s not making too many more…I don’t see how that should be her responsibility, even if she has the skill set. For the record, she’s already made somewhere in the neighborhood of 50…all handed out for free…even customizing them for people for fit & comfort.
@tohar1
High5 to her either way.
@tohar1
Why? Is she enjoying it?
@tohar1 I’ve made 75 masks for my friends, neighbors and my family’s coworkers. I don’t charge. (some people did donate money toward supplies) I do it selfishly. It keeps my family safer!
My mask protects you, your mask protects me.
Also, does your Mrs listen to you?
Here is my post. I feel that it waxed in a slightly weird direction. Also I feel like I need a thesaurus.
