Can we have a moment of silence please...

All this talk of Leak Frogs reminded me that I needed to check my leak frogs in the crawl space. Yes, no basement - I am barely above sea level - I so miss basements.

Anyway, after many years of faithful service my leak frog that I affectionately named Froody has passed. Not totally dead exactly - it’s speaker barely put out any sound anymore, so I had to put it down
Froody saved me many times when the sump pump underneath the house had stopped working which could have been disastrous if not caught quickly. It was directly next to the pump under the HVAC air handler.

Luckily Froody had offspring (asexually) and one of them will now be taking over guard duty.

I decided to give Froody a burial at sea.

It will be missed

  I can imagine it sitting there thinking, “oh sure. Just hide me in this fucking crawl space and expect me to do your dirty work. Just sitting here waiting for your disgusting sump pump waste water to touch me, and then I’ll scream and scream and scream until I. Can’t. TAKE IT ANYMORE!”
