Can someone explain what VMP is good for now?

I know how it used to work but I almost bought something last week and couldn’t sign up for VMP…nope, if I’m paying shipping every time, that changes the perceived value.

And before you attack, yes…I could look it up myself but like some friends on FB, I’m lazy and it is easier to just ask the question.

Since you are not a VMP member, you will not be able to sign up for VMP again.
Rumor has it there is a new “membership” program in the works, so be on the lookout for that.

- @medz On Morningsave, the membership is $2/month for that site only. VMP members have membership to call Mediocre sites for one fee.

I’m OK with not being VMP. I maintained it on and off anyways. However, it will alter my purchasing habits. At least I HAD the option to buy something else within 30 days and on the plus side for Meh, I usually forgot to cancel before being charged again.

Like I said, last purchase I made I canceled because of the lack of VMP. Now I’m evaluating if I should purchase…because just like Woot now, I have to include the shipping cost in that one time purchase.

Winning at Meh though…

Before VMP became a grandfather, it used to work like a charm.
