@molfsontan Valid point. I would've bought a 5 pack of one each. But since I wanted a variety and not just a bunch of one kind I didn't buy any. * Alert! Alert! Here be some useful marketing info for ya, Meh-employees! Alert Alert! * (I'd have put an @ meh-employee name, but I have no clue who to direct my comment to, so I'll just make it annoyingly asterisked.)
Oh shit! Is it too late to still get in on the frozen banana extruder? I believe that soft-serve sludge would look mighty fine in those martini glasses.
(Celebrating my 144th click with some Angel's Envy and a water back. The bourbon is in a dining hall glass my wife lifted from Notre Dame. The water is in a little green Tupperware cup that used to live in my travel kit.)
some mix recipes should be included in the shipping box, just printed out and put in with them, not even the time taken to crop off wehre they came from.
I was considering the martini glasses until I remembered I've never had a martini. Anyways, radical-unclean-popcorn, in for beer glasses and smaller old-fashioned.
Apparently some kind of bizzare sulfur odor has tainted my current glasses... So wife approved. I don't advise tainting your glasses to get new ones on meh, but you never know, maybe that will help someone.
@Kerig3 Unless you count Bertha tunneling in Seattle as fracking, then no. The weird thing is I'm not 100% sure it's the water supply. The odor was coming specifically from some of our assorted glassware, but only about 1/3rd of it. It could have been some purchased beverage or a single run or two of bad water. Maybe it was one instance of bad contamination that spread to the surrounding glasses. Smell testing some 30 glasses or so after pouring sprite into them was not fun. Baking soda alieviated most of the smell for some, but the stress of having random sulfur glasses vs paying about the same amount I paid for lunch to replace them turned into a no-brainer. But yeah, it's still frustrating that I can't say what the source of the problem is.
At first I was thinking I didn't need these because I'm already plenty well-stocked. But I sometimes bring cocktail makin's to friends' houses and have to bring martini glasses. I think I'll buy a couple sets. That way, I can just leave a set next time. I just hope they have better dunnage than the ceramic coffee mugs.
Well Meh finally got me. First Purchase. In for 2 - got the old fashioned and beer glasses. I hope you're happy taking money from a broke college student Meh!
I must admit that I have a rather serious drinking problem, I simply don't do enough of it. Can't tell you the last time I even had a glass of wine. Might as well be morman or something.
Shipping these things will be interesting. My prior employer gave Waterford crystal wine glasses to employees each x-mas. Failure rate was something like 30% on those.
Why yes, I was looking for some new glasses to accommodate my new found appreciation of Sidecars. Also I have a bar kit but no glass ware, might as well pick some up now instead of relying on relatives to get them as a wedding gift.
We needed new glasses because, well, not to throw my wife under the bus or anything, but "dinner" glasses seem to have the same issue as socks in our house.
meh... I'd love to get a set that has 32 oz beer glasses... Just one that would hold 1/2 of the Growlette. I mean it's nice getting 2 pints and a smidge extra, but I'd like to have it all in 2 glasses... Small State Big (craft) Beer :)
Geez Meh, you are taking all my tax refund money. Bought one set this morning, checked back out of curiosity to see if it was sold out yet and clicked to buy a different set dammit.
I've got to agree with you s00ner; one of my 13 OZ DOUBLE OLD FASHIONED glasses was broken, as well. At $8 a set, it's disappointing, but too difficult to complain. Cheers to my set of FIVE double old fashioned glasses!
my martini glasses were stolen off of my front stoop last night you all just don't know how much I hope every single glass was broken into thousands of shards fuckers
My martini and cooler set arrived yesterday and to my amazement, every single one of them were in perfect condition. I guess I shouldn't be that shocked since items arriving in mint condition should be the standard but nonetheless I was very excited. Thanks for the glasses, Meh, time for a cocktail!
I don't think the delivery man bothered to slow his vehicle down when he tossed my glasses out of the truck in the general direction of my house. About half of them are pulverized. Shards were literally falling out of the package onto my sidewalk. Gotta love it.
Ordered a set of everything. All but one of the 9.5oz Old Fashioned glasses were intact. I'm going to smash another one to make it an even set of four.
Ordered 12, 11 were in good shape. Lost a double old fashioned, smashed to smitherines. Interesting though, there was no "Fragile" Sticker on the packaging--that might have helped.
Ordered a set of each, and like Penis_Lightning, all but one of the 9.5oz rocks glasses were intact.
readnj, having worked at a USPS processing and distribution center, I can assure you that the only two people that notice the "fragile" stickers are the sender and the recipient. Unless it goes as registered mail, it's going on a conveyor belt.
So I have to say 2 boxes of glasses were wedged into the box PERFECTLY so that nothing broke... all the way to the North East! I'm very impressed! Good amount of packing air pockets from Meh! Only down side to nothing coming in broken is I can't complain to customer service and see what crafty fix you can come up with. I say this cause your customer service rocks, and you seem like you have a lot of fun at your jobs!
Gotta say I'm glad I'm not the only one with broken glasses, two of my beer one were absolutely destroyed, all of the double old fashioned glasses were totally in-tact though. absolutely mediocre glasses if I do say so myself
Hey, the glasses look great, and don't leak which is a definite plus!! Be careful on handling them before you wash them as I got a glass sliver from one. It seems that when the manufactured "branded" the bottom, the process left shards which were not removed before packing.

Irk should NOT be smoking! It's not safe for trolls or any creatures!
@curtise He'll just regenerate a lung as needed.
@curtise Although Irk's drink IS justified after literally having the hand of the corporation UP his butt all day long!
@curtise Irk's smoking?!? That's SOOO 1990s....
Interesting... I can put the socks on these glasses..
@awhosit Shhh! Now they'll change their minds and want to sell them as koozies.
Meh. Especially since Irk is vaping or smoking...
pedestrian-thundering-salmon in for old fashioned and martini
I'm underage.. but i got that vodka mug in my fukubukuro! Meh.
If this included the Decanter I would be all about it.
I wish there were a 5 pack containing one of each.
@molfsontan That would make stacking them a bitch.
@lichme . . . and packing them for shipping a bitch.
@molfsontan Agreed. My first thought when seeing the picture was one of each type, which is exactly what I want.
@molfsontan Maybe we can find 3 other people to split 5 packs
My wine accepts all sizes of glasses.
@awarren I just use dixie cups...no washing involved.
Cause beer.
@lichme
I swig straight from the bottle. No need for a glass.
@Pavlov everything comes in it's own easy-applicator...
@Pavlov
@JonT Where might I find an endless-supply bottle like that? Please.
@JonT
@RedOak I'm having the same thought . . .
@Pavlov
@Pavlov Like all of the above, I too enjoy the benefits of the convenient single serving packaging!
@Pavlov It's...
green.
@Pavlov
@SSteve It's green...
Well I guess I've got a gushy-porky-cocktail coming my way
Irk could take a BATH in some of those...
@clarinetbob Give it up man, just give it up.
these will come in handy when I need to drown away my mehspectations >.>
dormant-outspoken-earth
GOT SOME
I have lots of whiskey glasses, but could use some glass tumblers so bought a set. Hopefully these will come better packed than the ones on Amazon.
@alose Did they arrive ok? I lost two of the old fashioneds to the usps
@hisgrossness Yeah, the tumblers came through fine. Pretty nice glasses.
@alose Glad to hear it.
sparkling-lonesome-scotch for a set of old fashioned glasses. Seems appropriate.
in for the beer glasses
How do photographers get ice cubes to stay submerged in likker pics? WHAT DEVILRY IS THIS?!?!
How easily will these break? If not in the shipping truck, the floor will test them. For 1.33 a glass, a test failure is worth the risk.
@hchavers If you want something the floor won't break, maybe you shouldn't pick glass? Maybe pyrex?
@andrewpatrick Pyrex is glass . . .
@hchavers I just want to say one word to you. Just one word. Are you listening? Plastic.
@sammydog01
15.25-ounce beer glasses? Somebody needs to tell the Italians that beer is served in pints.
@ChunkyBitz Around these parts, it's served in 12-ounce bottles.
Screw that man I'm fine swigging down a gallon of ale at a time the glass just gets in the way.
Oh shit! Is it too late to still get in on the frozen banana extruder? I believe that soft-serve sludge would look mighty fine in those martini glasses.
Q: What do you call 144 meh clicks in a row?
A: A gross waste of time.
(Celebrating my 144th click with some Angel's Envy and a water back. The bourbon is in a dining hall glass my wife lifted from Notre Dame. The water is in a little green Tupperware cup that used to live in my travel kit.)
@Comedian 144 meh clicks? mehmentous.
@Comedian cheers
@JonT So many beers wasted. tear
@Comedian 144 meh click streak? That's gross man! No really I mean it, that is a gross of mehs!
some mix recipes should be included in the shipping box, just printed out and put in with them, not even the time taken to crop off wehre they came from.
I was considering the martini glasses until I remembered I've never had a martini. Anyways, radical-unclean-popcorn, in for beer glasses and smaller old-fashioned.
@andrewpatrick the martini glasses also are great as dessert dishes. Of course, mine are generally too full of martini to do that.
In for one of the doubles bc they're (lead-free) crystal. Wish the old fashioned were too... because I like their look!
In for affectionate-hairy-temper. These will be perfect for sipping drinks or shattering against the wall in a fit of pique.
Umm, just got out of my AA meeting. I guess it is a big fat no for me! hehehe
@shata Congratulations. My sister-in-law is alive thanks to AA.
@shata They hold other liquids too . . .
@Pavlov NO THEY DON'T
@midcontrast Okay, they don't. Your wallet and your continued sobriety will thank you.
Apparently some kind of bizzare sulfur odor has tainted my current glasses... So wife approved. I don't advise tainting your glasses to get new ones on meh, but you never know, maybe that will help someone.
@smartr Sulfur odor? Are they fracking near your water supply or is your water simply frakking bad? (like mine is)
@Kerig3 Are you around Minneapolis MN? Because the worst water I have EVER had (In terms of sulfurish smell) was in Circle Pines MN.
@hisgrossness Reading "Circle Pines" immediately makes me think of MST3k.
@SSteve this man knows of what he speaks. hikeeba!
@Kerig3 Unless you count Bertha tunneling in Seattle as fracking, then no. The weird thing is I'm not 100% sure it's the water supply. @SSteve Pearl?!

I think I'll buy a couple sets. That way, I can just leave a set next time. I just hope they have better dunnage than the ceramic coffee mugs.
incidental-disrespectful-earth
Gonna try beer in a martini glass... metric-venomous-tortilla
@smsica Fancy!
I actually filled my Amazon shopping cart with an assortment of beer glasses for use with my kegerator today but never checked out.
Procrastination pays.
Well Meh finally got me. First Purchase. In for 2 - got the old fashioned and beer glasses.
I hope you're happy taking money from a broke college student Meh!
@hisgrossness and you just missed the vmp socks, something actually useful for a college student
@Occasionally It's a sad day for my feet.
This is my preferred method for consuming alcohol.
@jseay65 Frank the Tank.
I must admit that I have a rather serious drinking problem, I simply don't do enough of it. Can't tell you the last time I even had a glass of wine. Might as well be morman or something.
I'm a little weirded out by:

murderous-masterful-servant
@gabemyers no camel toe?
Why yes, I was looking for some new glasses to accommodate my new found appreciation of Sidecars. Also I have a bar kit but no glass ware, might as well pick some up now instead of relying on relatives to get them as a wedding gift.
@PanicSwitch You have good taste. Sidecars occupy a special place in my heart.
@SSteve Why thank you. People can call me a hipster or whatever for loving a prohibition-era cocktail but I don't care, I love them.
in for pilsner glasses. nostalgic-magical-direction
Surprisingly happy to see the puppet guy with a cig in his hand.
I have been using random Glasses for my mixed drinks for years, now I will be drinking in style.
In for the beer glasses.
elevated-expensive-beef
@darksaber99999 That looks more like expensive fat.
We needed new glasses because, well, not to throw my wife under the bus or anything, but "dinner" glasses seem to have the same issue as socks in our house.
2x coolers.
dependable-pickled-pocket
@bakerzdosen Are you happy to see me or is that just a pickle in your pocket? ;P
@shata Always happy to see you. And it's a banana.
What's the chance on getting a complete set delivered unbroken?
@somf69 That question shall be answered over the next few weeks I reckon.
@SSteve I'm going with "wreckin."
@somf69 I got three of the four unbroken. Meh!
@somf69 4 of 6 unbroken.
meh... I'd love to get a set that has 32 oz beer glasses... Just one that would hold 1/2 of the Growlette. I mean it's nice getting 2 pints and a smidge extra, but I'd like to have it all in 2 glasses... Small State Big (craft) Beer :)
@sohmageek http://www.walmart.com/ip/Anchor-Hocking-Gusto-2-Piece-1-Liter-Mug-Set/10715159
@Cinoclav awesome. Thank you!
Geez Meh, you are taking all my tax refund money. Bought one set this morning, checked back out of curiosity to see if it was sold out yet and clicked to buy a different set dammit.
@petrosclark Oh yea...I need to do my taxes. Thanks for the reminder.
Aw, too bad there are no wine glasses, we're breaking ours too often
My old fashioned glasses just arrived and one was broken. :(
meh.
I've got to agree with you s00ner; one of my 13 OZ DOUBLE OLD FASHIONED glasses was broken, as well. At $8 a set, it's disappointing, but too difficult to complain. Cheers to my set of FIVE double old fashioned glasses!
my martini glasses were stolen off of my front stoop last night
you all just don't know how much I hope every single glass was broken into thousands of shards
fuckers
I can't believe none of my glasses were broken. I WAS SHOCKED. SHOCKED I TELL YA.
My martini and cooler set arrived yesterday and to my amazement, every single one of them were in perfect condition. I guess I shouldn't be that shocked since items arriving in mint condition should be the standard but nonetheless I was very excited. Thanks for the glasses, Meh, time for a cocktail!
@PanicSwitch may I suggest one of these fine beverages?
I don't think the delivery man bothered to slow his vehicle down when he tossed my glasses out of the truck in the general direction of my house. About half of them are pulverized. Shards were literally falling out of the package onto my sidewalk. Gotta love it.
Ordered a set of everything. All but one of the 9.5oz Old Fashioned glasses were intact. I'm going to smash another one to make it an even set of four.
Got my tumblers and doubles today. I'm afraid we've shot right past mediocre into "decent" territory.
Ordered 12, 11 were in good shape. Lost a double old fashioned, smashed to smitherines. Interesting though, there was no "Fragile" Sticker on the packaging--that might have helped.

Anyone else's not shipped? I still haven't seen a shipping notice on my old fashioned glasses.
@datraceman seems like there was an issue that caused yours to not ship out, we're looking into it and we'll have them out to you ASAP.
@datraceman My order hasn't indicated that it has shipped yet either... Maybe something has gone terribly wrong with my order?
@JonT My Order shows as Placed still, any chance something went wrong with mine too?
@JonT Thanks for the reply. I can't wait to get them!
one of the cups were broken... eh.
Both boxes came without a single broken glass.
I'm sure my wife or kids will rectify this problem within a week.
My set was delivered last Friday, but I just got a random e-mail from meh saying that they were shipped.
@Knightp Same here. Hopefully not another shipping snafu. Probably just very mediocre communication.
@Knightp Me too, I just got the email saying they shipped... but they totally showed up last week.
@Knightp Same. I thought this was because of my support mail about the broken stuff, but the tracking number is the same as last time.
My eight martini glasses arrived intact! I have two friends who are going to be happy to get a gift of four glasses each.
Hey, the glasses look great, and don't leak which is a definite plus!! Be careful on handling them before you wash them as I got a glass sliver from one. It seems that when the manufactured "branded" the bottom, the process left shards which were not removed before packing.
