@Kyeh@ShotgunX rarely have I gotten anything I could use. A dimmer switch, some fancy light bulb, the plastic part of an ID tag…like 1000 pieces of that plastic, kids halloween costume, halloween mask, random books or tv series on dvd, etc
@Kyeh Lately they have been eh. A year or two ago they seemed to have better stuff. Can’t say before that, I was unaware until January 2018. My husband got a really nice watch that he wears every day, sticker said $395. Just needed a battery. Sheets, blu-ray player, stuff like that, random BUT mostly crap. Back then it seemed there was at least one item that was nice, now sometimes you get a “wow” item. But hey, it’s 10 bucks. The entertainment value alone is worth that.
@Kyeh I have only received 3 IRKs, I received sheets this last time but honestly BOCs seem to be better for me. However, like I said, lately they have been kind of eh. Here, look through some threads:

I think we literally got the same BoC(s). They probably mass-produce them, unlike here, where there are some common items, but the packages themselves are unique.
I’ve gotten some okay stuff in one of the BoCs, but I can’t recall what it was. I don’t remember getting any electronics or appliances, though.
I was a wooter not long after the site started in 2004 and abandoned it after Amazon ruined in sometime around 2012. I got lots of BoC over the years and can say the quality declined with the quantity. In the beginning, they were funny and sometimes fantastic. They would send 10 MP3 players. Or 100 key chain lights. Or a TV. Or an anvil (yes, an anvil). It felt like they enjoyed sending them out. But by 2012 they were essentially junk without the joy. No thought, no personality and no surprises.
I’ ve gotten lots more stuff I could use or otherwise enjoy in BOCs than in IRKs, but then I’ve gotten a lot more of them.
I even got a letter and a subsequent box about 2’ x 2’ of even MORE Crap, including Ferragamo sunglasses that originally cost $350! Believe that that is the only way I would ever own sunglasses that cost that much. And there was a whole lot of other stuff in the box. I gave items to several friends, my cleaning ladies and my hairdresser. And then donated quite a bit.
I find IRKs at least as hard to get as BOCs, but they are both lots of fun.
Sold out now.
Lies
@medz I managed to get one!
@medz I got one too, but I was partaking in the madness already
Well shoot!
What are these like? Similar to IRKS? Better? Worse?
@Kyeh worse but just as fun
@Kyeh Sometimes better, sometimes worse. Usually worse I’d say. And more expensive. And much harder to get.
@tinamarie1974 @ShotgunX Wow, harder to get?? Twice the price, too. What sort of stuff have you gotten?
@Kyeh @ShotgunX @tinamarie1974 they’re just harder to get because there’s more competition. You’re much better off with an irk

@Seeds @ShotgunX @tinamarie1974 @Dakini So it sounds like the IRKs usually contain better stuff, too.

@ShotgunX no the msrp value is not even close
@Dakini Thanks, that was fun. The thing I’d most like out of those BOCs would be one of the monkeys, really!
