@cengland0 My whole family has ninjas, and work fantastic. I only use mine to make the occaisional smoothie or mixed drink, but my mom uses hers all the time.
@alose I use mine to make smoothies too. It's all frozen fruits and a little orange or pineapple juice. Then some soy powder, peanut butter, and acai powder.
Those strawberries are real tough to blend. They are hard like marbles and after a few spins, the outer layer is soft but it is still hard inside. The Ninja relies on sharp blades, not brute force, so the blades barely make it through that soft layer then it gets stuck between the strawberry and the glass. The motor stops, overheats, and burns up.
If the motor doesn't stop working on the Ninja, the rubber feet between the motor and the glass break off. I still have one Ninja left that Mrs cengland0 uses for light duty but all the heavy duty stuff is done with the Blendtec.
Why does anyone need a blender like this? What could you possibly need this much power for? Not even the most passionate margarita obsession requires such a purchase.
@Lotsofgoats I've seen those videos but always thought they were a spoof and not something you could actually own. Now I want one two of these. One to blend the other one.
@cengland0 Frozen strawberries ( and blueberries and peaches and ? ) are handled just fine by my $7 blender. I think it's a hamilton beach or something like that. Got it at a local overstock store a couple years ago. Still going strong. I make smoothies almost daily. Oh and mine has a nice heavy glass pitcher which I completely prefer over plastic.
@cengland0 I've actually quartered pineapple and blended the whole thing spikes and all in my vitamix. Never had the urge to put a whole coconut in, though.
About the only thing that survives intact are strawberry seeds. For some reason those little bastards just bounce off the blade and refuse to blend.
@mehgrl There have been 217 days so far this year, and 217 mass blending incidents in the US. Coincidence? I'm with you, we need to stop selling such high powered blenders. Our forefathers made do with potato mashers and the occasional hand cranked mixer. There's no way they had blenders like this in mind when they wrote the Constitution.
@AnnaB "Professionally speaking"? What makes you a blender professional and why do you prefer the Vitamix? I prefer the Blendtec because I don't have to force a stick down the middle to force the food into the blades.
@AnnaB haven't you heard? BlendTec vs Vitamix is like Democrats vs Republicans, Android vs iOS, Mac vs Windows, Nintendo vs Sega, Ps4 vs Xbox One. Neither side is willing to tolerate any dissenting opinion, however informed they may be.
@AnnaB I originally bought a blendtec and had trouble with my overly large smoothies jamming the blade of the wildside jar. It also overheated a few times (yes, I was doing to much with it). I returned it and bought a Vitamix from Costco (bought both from Costco actually) and was pretty irritated having to use the plunger to get any really good blend going. Then I bought the Wildside XR Jar from Blendtec to use with the Vitamix blender. This jar on the Vitamix never jams, does not use a plunger and pulls the mix down to the blades. Super expensive solution but by far better then either of the other two alone.
@cengland0 you don't 'need' to use the "stick" to force the food into the blades. I use my vitamix almost on a daily basis and only have to use the tamper for certain foods (ice cream, nut butters etc.) that require a little assistance. However trying to blend the same items in a blendtec would either require constant stopping of the machine and mixing or the use of their Twister jar (which costs around $100). For everyday blends such as smoothies I never have to use the stick in order for it to blend. I own both a Vitamix and Blendtec and without a doubt the Vitamix is a better made machine. However, Blendtec is not very far behind especially if you can find one on discount.
Why is it so expensive? I like nice kitchen stuff like knives and clad pans, but this costs the same as all I need of each of those (maybe not on meh, but I assume people buy it other places). Can't imagine using it the same amount.
edit: went back and read the description. You predicted my reaction. Well played meh, well played.
I used to rep these guys in commercial equipment sales- they make awesome stuff. But the $15 dollar one from k-mart makes just as good margaritas, and if it breaks- $15 replaces it faster'n ordering parts.
@mfauske88 Would like to point out that what we're selling here gives you the piece of mind of the full Blendtec warranty. I doubt any of the ones you find at that price on eBay offer the same.
BlendTec is totally worth it. In many ways it can do the job of a food processor but better. You can make a soup right in the blender! Very cool feature. I use it mostly for smoothies, pesto, hummus, sauces, nut butters.
@becca I make almond butter but had to buy a special jar for it called the Twister Jar. It works great if you use roasted almonds, not so good if they are raw. Using raw, you need to add oil and I didn't like doing that.
@cengland0 For raw, I soak them in water overnight first, and add a bit of water instead of oil if it needs liquid. I'm happy with the hummus-y texture, but that's probably not going to meet everyone's description of a nut butter.
@becca What is the texture like after the water evaporates? By the way, right after making the nut butter, it's usually hot. That's the best time to taste test it. Yummy.
@cengland0 I've found the trick for raw almonds. Blend them a few times till you get the chunky consistency and then let them cool (pop the jar in the fridge for a little bit if necessary) then blend it 1 more time and it is as smooth as roasted almonds. Something about how the oils release.
OK, here's the deal: This listing is a great example of something so tempting. - Not because I have any need for a blender. (I don't). In fact, I already own a perfectly good KitchenAid 'wedding shower special' model. - I know full well I'll probably use this once or twice a year when I actually remember it exists and find stuff to throw in. Truth is: I have a meh addiction. [[no, not meth]]
So thanks meh, for slowly chipping away at my bank account while at the same time providing a great means for tax evasion.
@boygenius1991 it's actually a great deal. If you even compare it to a regular Oster or Kitchenaid blender, then his blender probably isn't targeting folks like you.
@boygenius1991 And your ten normal blenders will sit on the sidelines while someone else's Blendtec steals their girlfriends. These are awesome blenders doing far much more than the other boys. (But, I admit that I bought an Omega from that other worn out daily deal - well, now about 400 daily "deals" - site and the Omega gets to stay and play with the big boys.)
After years of use and abuse in our old coffee shop our Blendtec's outlasted every other appliance--the Vitamix blenders we started with--without ever skipping a beat. They're probably still churning out frappes somewhere, since the blenders also outlasted our interest in said coffee shop.
So years later my wife turns all smoothie-eyed at this 'great deal' on a Blendtec 'just like we had back at Northern Grounds'. So I broke down and bought it for her...
Two weeks ago...
This exact model...
At friggin' Costco...
Where my VMP membership accounts for jack...
Sixty bucks and fourteen days later I'm stuck imagining how sick it'd be to see if I could make sixty one-dollar bills blend. Meh.
@elliedan huh? Are you trying to say that it was $61 at Costco for this same model? (Or $60 as in sixty $1 bills) I'm sort of confused about where that dollar amount comes from because I know that's not what you're saying, is it?
@pzy possible but highly unlikely. I've never seen it for less than $300, usually like $349 I think? Buying at Costco does get you an additional 3 year warranty, on top of the blendtec 4 year (it might be the other way around)
@elliedan I just bought one at Costco 1 week ago. It cost $250 after a special $50 "instant rebate" special. It is the "Classic 570 Performance" model (very similar to the one here but with an 8 year warranty). Incidentally, we used Costco's generous return policy to return the $200 Oster Versa that we had bought 2 months ago (with the lid on it wouldn't fit beneath our cabinets, left large amounts of powder on the sides of the jar after blending, and the "clear-on-clear" graduations on the jar were almost impossible to read. We definitely prefer the Blendtec. I considered ordering here and returning the Costco one, but I probably won't.
@pzy@cengland0 Yeah, I was noting $60 dollar difference in price after factoring sales tax. I then conjectured that I could've taken said savings and blended sixty bucks for my own amusement. Just to clarify. Have a meh day!
@mfladd - Seriously, @JonT won't make you do it if you'd really rather not, I thought you were just being humble. I understand, though - it's daunting.
@KDemo No I am good with it, better now than during football season. yea, how do you follow Pavlov and Starblind with their amazing stuff. I am working on one (contest).
I am humble, but @jaremelz will tell you differently. I love to ping her to start trouble.
I've owned and used this blender for the past 3 years. My opinion is as follows: It's great if you like blending up frozen fruit for smoothies, which is what I primarily use it for at least 3 times per week. Throw in a banana, some frozen strawberries, other frozen fruit, some juice for viscosity and you're good to go. It handles everything with ease. I do have 2 complaints however. First, if you have the standard jar, cavities have a tendency to form above the blade if you make your smoothie too thick. This results in having to start and stop the blender numerous times to shove the stuff back down. This can be avoided by making sure you add enough juice to start with and I also hear that the Wildside Jar (which is included with this sale) fixes that problem as well. Second, the jars are known to have problems. Google "Blendtec jar leaking" and you'll see what I mean. Just 2 months ago I experienced it. Luckily, I called them and they sent me a new jar free of charge. Considering this includes the better jar (which is $50+ on its own), if you need a nice blender this is a no brainer. Can't believe more haven't sold.
I want one of these so bad. But unfortunately I don't have $219 lying around for one at the moment. Eventually I will own one, as from what I understand they are worth the money.
This is very tempting. My sister has one of these and I think she likes it a lot. I also think she paid significantly more for it. I'm going to have to sleep on it, though. No over-$50 purchase after a cocktail.
I had a blendtec for about 7 years and LOVED it. Well worth the money, IMO. It finally gave out and I tried out a vitamix, which I love as well. I burned out every cheap blender with thick protein shakes, but it took a looooong time to burn out a blendtec.
@azdarkknight 1. Even a Lexus dealer has a service center. 2. Buyer remorse returns are not sold as new. This is an expensive blender and people have second thoughts about the price when they get home. 3. Some companies have a free trial period and a no-hassel refund policy. People take advantage and use it as long as they can and get free usage out of a product. 4. You can also buy refurbished Vitamix machines -- directly from the manufacturer: https://www.vitamix.com/Shop/Certified-Reconditioned-Series
VitaMix is a cult. BlendTec KILLS it...i have 2 ...1 for work and 1 for h o me. Never failed me and will take down anything for a smoothie. Never regretted it.
I've been disappointed in Woot for a while but Meh, this is a good price but far from the best price I've seen. I personally bought exactly this model from Walmart last year for almost $10 less including shipping and tax. It's a sad day when even Walmart beats Meh. For one deal a day, I expect a fantastic deal, not "good enough."
@alextse I don't believe it. First, this is not a typical Walmart product. Walmart customers are used to buying cheap products, not the best products. Can you produce a link to this product on the Walmart website?
@cengland0 lol BlendTec is derogatorily cheap only when it's sold at Walmart? What kind of ass-backward logic is that? Pampers diapers are similarly cheap? How about those Pringles and Lays potato chips? A 24 pack of coke is "cheap" at Walmart as opposed to at Target? How about a PS4? If you don't want cheap things, why are you here on Meh?
@clanecks YES. It was exactly that deal. Don't know why cengland0 is so defensive of Meh. If they aren't delivering the deals, I think we should call them out on it. Don't let Meh go Woot.
@alextse I'm not defensive of Meh. Just trying to find good deals like everyone else. That deal from Walmart is dead but it still makes me wonder why I cannot just search for Blendtec and find it. I have no problem buying things from Walmart and if this was still available for $199 from them, then I would say go get that one instead. The facts of the matter is that you cannot get it for that price at Walmart today so this one from Meh is a good deal today. That Walmart link shows it sells for $249 and is sold out. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Blendtec-1-560-Watt-Total-Blender-Classic-with-Wild-Side-Jar-Refurbished/39815330
Walmart may sell some things like blenders and mixers but not the most expensive items like this Blendtec or the pro version of the KitchenAid mixer. At least their search only shows the 4.5 quart mixer.
Walmart sells things the typical Walmart customer wants. Those people care more about price than quality. You can tell some of them because they are the same people that are complaining about the high price of todays product claiming that the $10 blender they got on Walmart is just as good.
@cengland0 No, that's not what your reply to my posting was about. You said you don't believe what I wrote and were refuted. I stated the purchase was from last year. I'm here on Meh to get a fantastic deal, the trade-off is that we don't get to choose what that one item a day is. If they aren't holding up to their end, they'll be as irrelevant as Woot which is a sad thing. I'm letting them know so they can improve.
@alextse But is that a significantly lower percentage than Meh's other $200-plus deals? Also, I'm not sure what good a deal from Wal-Mart from last year is to me when I need a blender today. Prove to me that this is not the best price I could have gotten today and your point is valid.
@editorkid As I already said, it's a good price just not a fantastic one. I had my eye on a Blendtec or Vitamix for a while so when a fantastic price became available I jumped on it. This is not a fantastic price. If a "good" price is enough for you, that's your call. I'm providing perspective for deal hunters and, especially, for Meh that customers expect better from them.
@alextse Also, you're ranting about a difference of less than $10 on a $200+ item anyway. Some of us are happier spending $219 with a vendor we really like than $210 or whatever you paid with a vendor we despise that doesn't need our money anyway. There's more to life than insignificant savings.
@editorkid I made a post that was factually accurate. I find myself answering posts by people who are somehow offended by it. That's not "ranting." I'm happy to go on with my weekend without having to answer another question.
Actually, it's pretty funny that the best price that the largest company in the universe could get you is so close to the best price li'l ol' Meh could. You pretty arguably got screwed. There's no way Wal-Mart couldn't have gotten a better price than that. Wally can do loss leaders that Meh can't.
@cengland0 Look, I get you have a major stick up your ass about this deal. Good for you, hope you bought many. The fact is that it took most of the day to sell out of the limited stock of 100 pieces with only 0.2% buying and just over $22k in sales. For recent comparisons, another blender, a Ninja, sold for $100 to 0.73% and grossed $33k and Dyson, similar price/quality to this deal, sold to 0.3% for almost $39k gross. So this deal had both significantly lower interest and lower gross than either two comparisons. Like I said repeatedly, a good but not fantastic deal. You can whine all you want now. I'm right and I'm done.
@alextse But Meh's buyer decides the quantity and presumably the selling price, maybe or maybe not with some signing off from Matt or Dave or whoever. If Meh sold out of the 100 units it had to sell, there were no accidents there. They were happy with the number they were selling and happy with the money it would bring in. This sale had exactly as much interest and exactly as much gross as Meh wanted it to have.
@editorkid There does seem to be a pattern - on weekends, they sell items that have less stock. I'm thinking it's multi-purpose. Let's employees take a more hands off approach on their day off, and doesn't overload the warehouse on Monday.
I have this, and I have a Vitamix. I much prefer the Vitamix (the stick people complain about is the whole point by the way, it is specifically what makes it a superior blender) for everything but making snow. The blendtec crushes ice better, so if you like slushy drinks this is great. Otherwise, the Vitamix makes a better smoothie, no seeds or anything. I prefer soup, and sauces in the Vitamix as well.
But, for this price, if you need a high powered blender (and you do, you just don't know it), this will treat you well.
Basically, the Vitamix sits on the counter and gets used multiple times a day and this sits in the camper and gets me icy drunk on weekends.
Basically, you can't go wrong for this price. I got mine through crowdfunding on Barnraiser way cheaper, but that was a fluke.
Note: next time at a Smoothie King or Jamba Juice, pay attention to what they use. It's most likely a BlendTec. Some more upscale locations would use a Vitamix. Both offer similar performance. Professional chefs I know tend to prefer Vitamix, though they usually can't say why other than "personal preference." Either way, this blender should not even be held in the same breath as a regular blender bought at your local grocery store.
@clanecks Agreed. If you're paying full retail then go ahead and split hairs over which pulverizes ice somewhat better and which destroys vegetable cell walls slightly more efficiently. But if you want either and a deal comes up for less than $250, then both will serve very well.
I've often thought these things wouldn't be so stupid-expensive if the company did't spend all their spare time grinding up $800 phones for likes on YouTube.
Not everyone is trying to liquefy a steak. These things completely lack finesse.
Have a 200 dollar Ninja i paid 100 cash for ...works great but i understand its a peice of crap compared to Vitamix ..why anyone would want to heat soup in a blender is beyond logic ok lets overheat my motor to heat up soup and take a year off the life of the blender Really?I dont use blenders enough to pay that much .. but im likeing the new products Meh is presenting so for that a big BRAVO
Actually, I agree with Cook's Illustrated that the Breville Ikon is the blender to beat. I got one from Woot years ago and it's been a damn hero, all the more so since the oral surgery I had this spring that still has me on a largely liquid diet. But it finally just gave out and I was ready to get one of the Ninjas on Woot. Glad this turned up. Unfortunately, plain-luxurious-pot doesn't inspire much in the way of interesting photos.
And thanks again to @shawn and @hollboll for the help with getting my damn bank to let me use my damn credit card! I think they're going to menace now, although there's still a part of me that wants to add "for a while."
Can it blend years of misery from a life gone horribly wrong and fruit picked from the vine of despair into a smoothie of gladness and spiritual fulfillment?
Nothing can compare to this blender. Not only can it blend any food you can throw at it but it's better than any Ninja or vitamix. Heck, it could probably blend a Ninja if you could fit it in.
Well I bought 3 $25 hamilton beach liquid action blenders at walmart so I could make 3 smoothies a day and put the dirty carafe in the dishwasher. So I've got motor bases for the rest of my life. 700 watts blends nuts and frozen fruit just fine.

After burning up two ninja's, I bought a Blendtec. Haven't destroyed this one yet.

Why does anyone need a blender like this? What could you possibly need this much power for? Not even the most passionate margarita obsession requires such a purchase.
@mehgrl Making smoothies out of frozen fruit. Frozen strawberries broke two Ninjas of mine so a more powerful machine is necessary.
@mehgrl the same reason people buy Ferraris and Lamborghinis. You can never have too much powah!
@mehgrl because you can have all the fiber in your piña colada
@Lotsofgoats Holy crap!
@Lotsofgoats I'd like to see if a Vitamix could do that.
@Lotsofgoats ....would that actually taste good though? Sounds like an episode of Drinking Terrible to me....
@cengland0 just blend a vitamix
@mehgrl Also, you may want to make dust out of your buckyballs.
@Collin1000 drinking terrible with a blendtec would be like 1 part Grey Goose, 1 part pencil erasers and they'd call it the Rubber Duck
@Lotsofgoats The Rubber Duck Duck Goose, you mean.
@KDemo Ah, rare earth smoke. hehe.
I loved the sparks those magnets made. Great firework display.
@jsh139 the same reason people buy Ferraris and Lamborghinis
To compensate for lack of power in other areas
@cengland0 I just have a nutribullet and use it for frozen fruit all the time. I've had it about a year now.

@Lotsofgoats hahahahahahah that cracked me up.
Tom Dickson is my homeboy
Not a fan of Blendtec. Professionally speaking, I prefer the Vitamix
@AnnaB "Professionally speaking"? What makes you a blender professional and why do you prefer the Vitamix? I prefer the Blendtec because I don't have to force a stick down the middle to force the food into the blades.
@cengland0 I'm a chef and use blenders all the time. The Blendtec performs inconsistently, in my opinion.

@cengland0 you don't 'need' to use the "stick" to force the food into the blades. We already have a Blendtec but these are great blenders. Very good warranty, too.
But will it blend speaker docks??
@eeterrific Probably, as in it should also take care of all our boxes of neoprene cases. (Formerly all of Meh's skids of neoprene cases.)
The ultimate will it blend ad probably has to be whether or not a Blendtec can blend a Blendtec.
@eeterrific Yes. I have seen the video of blending an iPhone.
@alose This one:
It may seem expensive, but it is a lot cheaper and grinds things up much finer than a wood chipper.
I used to rep these guys in commercial equipment sales- they make awesome stuff. But the $15 dollar one from k-mart makes just as good margaritas, and if it breaks- $15 replaces it faster'n ordering parts.
Well these are regularly being sold on eBay @180$. I'd buy it if it was in the 160$$ range.
And only 8 sold almost 15 minutes in is saying something.
@mfauske88 the ebay link for the blender isn't working
@jehjeh12 that isn't a link to ebay, it's a link to the user 180 (who apparently doesn't exist)
@mfauske88 Would like to point out that what we're selling here gives you the piece of mind of the full Blendtec warranty. I doubt any of the ones you find at that price on eBay offer the same.
@mfauske88 Well next time give a link. I've gotta say totally happy with what I paid 4 months later.
BlendTec is totally worth it. In many ways it can do the job of a food processor but better. You can make a soup right in the blender! Very cool feature. I use it mostly for smoothies, pesto, hummus, sauces, nut butters.

This is a pretty leet sale...

Truth is: I have a meh addiction. [[no, not meth]]
So thanks meh, for slowly chipping away at my bank account while at the same time providing a great means for tax evasion.
I have mixed feelings about this.
@gyozilla - Go ahead, give it a whirl.
@gyozilla I like to listen to Fryderyk Chopin when using this.
@droopus Darn you to heck! Now I have that William Orbit album stuck in my head.
ridiculous! you could buy like 10 normal blenders for this much money. meh. I love it when you sell kitchen stuff, but this is not something I want.
@boygenius1991 it's actually a great deal. If you even compare it to a regular Oster or Kitchenaid blender, then his blender probably isn't targeting folks like you.

@pzy possible but highly unlikely. I've never seen it for less than $300, usually like $349 I think? Buying at Costco does get you an additional 3 year warranty, on top of the blendtec 4 year (it might be the other way around)
@givemeyoursoul my blendtech came with a 7 year warranty without costco warranty.
@pzy @cengland0
Yeah, I was noting $60 dollar difference in price after factoring sales tax.
I then conjectured that I could've taken said savings and blended sixty bucks for my own amusement.
Just to clarify. Have a meh day!
@elliedan - But it wasn't a refurb, right? (Not that there's anything wrong with that).
I bought mine as a refurb with warranty off eBay for around the same price. Thing is a beast! Highly recommended at this price.
Love this blender! It paid for itself making baby food.
meh still have a ninja kickin around as well as purchased a single auger low rpm juicer for needing nutrients
How does this unit handle tub mummies of various sizes?
@brhfl - TIny Tub Mummy is protected as a National Treasure. Hands (and blender) off!!
I totally need one, but first I need the funds for one. ;)
@xarous - Be careful if you say that around @mfladd, he might buy one for you.
@KDemo I won't even by myself a blender at this price :)
@mfladd Just trying to drum up more votes for you ;-)
BTW, Still waiting for your badge to budge.
@KDemo shhhhh......I was hoping everyone forgot. But, thanks.
@mfladd - Oh, oops. Sorry. It does seem rather a large burden.
@KDemo plus I have to do this Team Breakfast Octopi thing this week. Then a contest for the mehtizens. It will be a loooong month.
@mfladd Forget about the kids and eating/sleeping this month. Might want to call in sick as well.
(Contest?)
@mfladd Don't worry, you'll be great.
@mfladd
@KDemo, he really is terribly humble.
@KDemo LMAO. and I don't say that often.
@jaremelz Oh shit!!! you went after football, and my fantasy teams, gave me the finger, and I have to kiss your ass!!!!!!
:)
@KDemo Stuart Smalley is what I am going to go back to all month long!
@mfladd - Daily, I would hope.
@mfladd
@mfladd Waiting for hugs had me like...
@jaremelz too tight?
@mfladd Freaking Ronda Rousey. What a beast.
@mfladd I hope this gets announced tomorrow. I made you a badge. :)
@jaremelz Uh-oh

@SSteve I asked my wife and she said buttoned-tempting-van.
I had a blendtec for about 7 years and LOVED it. Well worth the money, IMO. It finally gave out and I tried out a vitamix, which I love as well. I burned out every cheap blender with thick protein shakes, but it took a looooong time to burn out a blendtec.
Mine came with another jar for nearly $100 more so I'm not too upset. This is a good deal though.
If its so good, how come they have so many that needed to be "refurbished"?
@azdarkknight
@SputnikHQ VitaMix is a cult - but you own 2 of these. OK then.
@Pufferfishy Yes, I actually have a job where I need it there too. I bet you could do with just one, being unemployed and all...
@SputnikHQ You really do have this nonsense comment thing down, don't you?
@Pufferfishy I am not sure but I can bait a moron like nobody's business.
@SputnikHQ Well, that and your two blenders are quite the list of accomplishments. Kudos.
@cengland0 http://slickdeals.net/f/7467188-blendtec-1-560-watt-total-blender-classic-with-wild-side-jar-refurbished-199
@alextse You said it's a sad day when Walmart beats Meh. Well, today Meh wins.
@cengland0 Wow, you're still chewing this bone? 99.82% are passing on this deal, it's just not that good.
@alextse And, by the way, I asked if you could provide a link to that product on the Walmart website. You didn't. So that's another fail.
@alextse
Sold out so using your logic, it must have been a good deal.
I'm right and I'm done.
https://meh.com/deals/ninja-ultima-blender-bl830--refurbished-
https://meh.com/deals/dyson-dc41-base--animal--or-animal-frankenstein--refurbished-
@alextse But Meh's buyer decides the quantity and presumably the selling price, maybe or maybe not with some signing off from Matt or Dave or whoever.
@Pufferfishy That is very cheap advertising compared to what is charged for a 30 second national spot on TV between 6 and 7 pm.
@cengland0 I guess that's true.
@cengland0 That's a good point. Everyone who sees my Blendtec always quotes "Will it blend?" That's pretty effective marketing.
The important question is will it blend?
Have a 200 dollar Ninja i paid 100 cash for ...works great but i understand its a peice of crap compared to Vitamix ..why anyone would want to heat soup in a blender is beyond logic ok lets overheat my motor to heat up soup and take a year off the life of the blender Really?I dont use blenders enough to pay that much .. but im likeing the new products Meh is presenting so for that a big BRAVO
This being refurbished begs the question... what caused it to break in the first place? What Would not Blend?!?
@PUfelix85 another blendtec
I wish Meh was running one of those contests to win one of these, mostly because I want it so bad. I always want what I can't have though, so meh.
I guess if I'd had that coffee before I said that, I'd've seen that Android had autocorrected "behave" to "menace." Which is kind of ironic, at least.
Can it blend years of misery from a life gone horribly wrong and fruit picked from the vine of despair into a smoothie of gladness and spiritual fulfillment?
@bczf Yes.
@SSteve especially if you put tequila or rum in it.
Damn, not sold out yet. I may be making a poor decision later.
@brhfl Whew, saved!
@brhfl and they say procrastination doesn't pay. :)
I was wrong. $250 on sale at Costco right now.
Nothing can compare to this blender. Not only can it blend any food you can throw at it but it's better than any Ninja or vitamix. Heck, it could probably blend a Ninja if you could fit it in.
Welp, I sat on the fence too long before deciding I wanted to pull the trigger, and now the only color left is white... :-(
@flame7369 Sorry if I took the last black one. White was a no-go. I wish they had blue, though. My KitchenAid is blue.
There might be something acid in the mehair today based upon some of the dialogs above. Life's too short.
wow, sold out. I'm impressed.
@Pantheist only 100
@CrossIT still, all they had
Well I bought 3 $25 hamilton beach liquid action blenders at walmart so I could make 3 smoothies a day and put the dirty carafe in the dishwasher. So I've got motor bases for the rest of my life. 700 watts blends nuts and frozen fruit just fine.
