I got a woman’s large (normally I do mens because I like them baggy and I don’t know why I didn’t do it this time) thinking it would be baggy enough. I’ve never been able to get a Fuko so I figured I’d at least get a Meh shirt…looks like I might be donating it to the high school pantry where they give out things to kids and families that can’t afford things. @jerk_nugget the pits turn yellow because of the reaction of detergent with the antiperspirant you’re using. I had that issue at one time, but after switching to deodorant without antiperspirant, i no longer have that problem

@capguncowboy unfortunately for me (and my father) there is no ‘cure’ for it. not different deodorants or natural ones, not the detergent, and none of the ‘home remedy’ type stain remover tricks work. i just know if i buy a white shirt i’ll only get a few public wears out of it before it becomes a cleaning/hair dying/pj shirt.

On a side note, @narfcake, I didn’t like the recent ones I purchased at Woot. They were kind of scratchy, and the printing on all of them were kind of, uh, I guess I’ll say faded. I’ve decided not to buy any more Woot shirts. I’ll miss them, but I guess I’ll have more room in my closets.

@Barney Did you order the standard Anvil (crap) or the premium Canvas? Anvil is definitely not as soft and they only get worse if they’re dryer dried and shrink up like 3".

Muted colors is typical; they’ve gotten better with the DTG, but I’ve had my share of bad ones from time to time still. Can you post a pic?

I ordered 4 of the premium Canvas. I dunno, I think the AA shirts have spoiled me. They are so soft. As for the printing, they kinda look like they’ve been washed many times and they just don’t “pop” like the print on the AA.

Yep, I’m spoiled. Really, I’ll be quite happy to save my money. I do have too many shirts (not like you do, though). They’ll probably last me the rest of my life.

@Barney Weird. To me, Canvas feels at least as soft as AA, if not softer, given its lighter weight.

As for the print colors - much of the older shirts were screen printed (courtesy of @flipit’s work) with ink custom mixed for every different shirt; nowadays, almost all shirts are printed on DTG printers via color profiles. Sometimes they’re fine, sometimes they’re not due to the print file or forgetting to make sure the ink didn’t settle in the printer.

@narfcake I don’t know, narf, they just kind of feel like my shirts do when I forget the fabric softener. But, hey, that’s cool, maybe it’s just me.

@capguncowboy I’m an in between size too, so I order the larger size. It really hangs on me, but on the bright side, everyone asks me if I’ve lost weight.

I guess I need to either lose weight or gain it and then I will have the correct size shirt.
