@paulcarlucci A couple weeks ago I bought a rhubarb pie from a woman at the Saturday market. I felt guilty admitting it surpassed my mother’s pie as the best pie I have ever had. Mind you my mother is no slouch. When she was in high school she got 2nd place behind a professional chef in a pie baking competition so she knows her stuff.
@harveydanger Save the strawberries for your ice cream. Just diced rhubarb, sugar, pats of butter, and flour (for thickening) in a prebaked shell. I usually use a lattice top crust sprinkled with a little bit of sugar.
