Best of Meh Video: Director’s Choice
25Someone once asked me which of the 120 or so posted Meh videos are my favorites. And because that someone was my boss, I was obligated to come up with a more substantive answer than just “I don’t know; they’re all pretty dumb.”
So here they are, in no particular order: My AUTHORITATIVE LIST of the ten least stupid Meh videos so far!
Star the choices with which you agree! Dispute the choices with which you do not! Your votes will be tabulated and archived as part of the incomprehensibly vast collection of totally inconsequential data recorded online for no reason whatever!

@matthew If meh and mediocre accomplish nothing else, y'all could be proud of this one contribution to civilization.
@matthew i have to say my favorite cowboy songs are hedgehog pjs and holler treed
@matthew I agree with @chellemonkey; that "holler" song was perfectly suited to Hyram's particular...talents.
@matthew - ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ 10 more stars for this and the other SCTs.
How can you leave out this classic?
@frog That's my favorite from Hyram too. +1
@matthew Somehow I missed this one. Thanks for bringing it back up.
@frog I shared that one to facebook and not one person liked or commented. I call that success.
@frog Completely Agree. . . #crushing it Two thumbs up!
@matthew Hank makes me laugh more than some real life comedians.
@matthew not sure if I like this one because I like Irk singing it, or if it's because I like the song itself. but I like it.
@Collin1000 I'm in the same Boat... Though i will say this is the video that sold me on the whole Mad ape den thing.
@matthew Genies, man.
@matthew who is that?
@chellemonkey i don't know, but he puts the usual dude to shame.
@chellemonkey Ray Liotta?
@chellemonkey Someone I would be happy to have a few beers with.
@ceagee ok, but only a few... But you gotta be near Dallas as they don't let me stray too far anymore. First round on me. I'll take the Ray Liotta comparison, along with the original Bill Shatner call out. Both heroes of mine...
@Jdub Ah ha ! The singer is identified ! Great job. But you don't have travel plans to Buffalo ? We are expecting a nice storm. You might find that refreshing. I will hold you to it if I ever make it to the greater Dallas area.
@ceagee Hah - it's warmer there today than here! First day of wearing socks -- brrrr! But no snow in our forecast, at least. And viceversa on the beer if I ever show up in your neck of the woods!!!
@Jdub I don't feel like I've seen your screenname around. What do you do at meh.com when you aren't singing odd songs?
@chellemonkey Been here since February helping to grow the biz on the Wholesale side as a Mediocre Sales Guy! Was with the "Old Company" from 2001-2012, ending up on the buying side. Great place, awesome peeps here to work with, and trying to make some better-than-mediocre things happen again!
@matthew i don't know why i'm the only one who starred this so far. this is great.
@matthew I've always Loved Curious George, but I cannot argue a single point in this one. Love IT!
@matthew I love this video! The Man in the Yellow Hat has gotten away with this mysterious behaviour for DECADES.
@matthew I have a totally irrational love for these chinface videos.
@matthew This is the pinnacle of the series- it's all been downhill from here.
@dashcloud I liked Spoon Is All You Need better.
@matthew I think I speak for everyone when I say that I would love to see the Behind The Scenes/How It's Made video for Mr. Chinface please!
@matthew I still find myself humming this one to myself.
@matthew I cannot vote for, or watch this series...something about chinfaces has always...freaked me out...
@earlyre i'm with you. i tried watching one and was immediately compelled to close the browser tab.
@matthew We regularly sing both of the flatware songs around our house.
@matthew any chance this could get turned into a ringtone? my husband is in charge of maintenance for many, many espresso machines and would love this as his ringtone when work calls...
@liquidbluenight https://meh.com/forum/topics/something-went-terribly-wrong-ringtone
this was such a good idea, I wish I could say it was mine. I see little pieces of the community around the office everyday and it's awesome.
I find it really messed up that your top 10 list contains only 10 items, as this leaves no room for Showbiz Corner, which is brilliant and I hope there are more of them.
@Starblind How can he possibly do any more of them? He has covered every single celebrity that has ever or will ever exist already!
@curtise Perfect time for an expansion then: Bollywood Showbiz Corner!
Where's :
~ Irk's Mad Ape Den of "Yesterday"
Arguably his best song of that series.
~Ask Irk. He answered my question, which was totally awesome, and the best one of that series !
~TPHC {the original mini-series}? Although, it would be hard to pick one video out of that epic series.
@ceagee. @ceagee, @ceagee, @ceagee.
@ceagee how did you pronounce your "name" before this? Did Irk say it "correctly"? Although let's be fair no one will ever say it differently than Irk did now
@chellemonkey I no longer remember. Now, there is only Irk.
The MAD version of "Yesterday" is unstoppably brilliant, and this list cannot be considered legitimate without that video being on it.
@gruverja How did I not see that acronym before? I'm a little slow.
@joelmw Have you noticed that you can read the MAD APE DEN logo left to right, or top to bottom?
@Thumperchick
@Thumperchick Though actually, yes, but I forget. Every day is full of fresh discoveries of the things I've forgotten.
I'm a fan of the Maybe It Bothers Me More Than It Should series. Not so much the singing cowboy or the Its Glen.
@DJP519 Singing cowboy is probably my favorite actually.
@matthew Any chance you'll make an outtakes video of all the flubbed lines and wardrobe malfunctions?
