You’re gonna have to tell me who Jason Statham is (or how I might recognize him from elsewhere) before I can pick any of them you listed. And you’d probably better start with whether that’s the actor’s name or the character’s name.
(or, if I cared, I know how to look him up on IMDB)
Fwiw, I think I might have heard of “The Transporter” — but not those others.
Bald. Bit scrawny compared to say Rocky Balboa, but bulkier than Jet Li. Maybe Jackie Chan sized. Bald, slightly raspy/gritty voice with a Midland English accent.
There’s something about The Transporter that’s perfect, even though it regularly pushes the bounds of credibility. It was the first film I saw him in (at least that I know) and it will always have a special place in my heart.
Crank and Crank 2 are great too. Not at all realistic, but great fun. And he makes almost everything he’s in better.
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels might be a better movie, but, again, it’s partly nostalgia for me, so Transporter wins. Hell, I love it enough that I put up with all of the sequels and don’t even hate them.
I’m actually surprised at the number of people in the replies who don’t know who he is. I’m hardly a Hollywood nerd, but I know who Jason Statham is for the same reasons I know who Harrison Ford and Will Smith and Patrick Stewart are. (I.e. they’re in a lot of stuff and are frequently mentioned)
That one with the people and the stuff.
@yakkoTDI Did you mean The Bank Job?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bank_Job
@mediocrebot are you multiplying?
Lock Stock
@TheGreatNico The only excuse for leaving it off the list of options must be that it’s more an ensemble. But I agree that it belongs here for sure.
@joelmw @TheGreatNico Oh absolutely!!! What about Snatch…? Not action-y enough…?

@xobzoo he’s also in the Expendables

@xobzoo
Google would have been quicker than typing all that… Just sayin’
@chienfou @xobzoo why would I want them to leave Meh?
The Meg
@sammydog01 Is that a Family Guy spinoff movie?
Yes, all of them
He’s got a new one out: Working Man
So… Timely!
@pakopako I saw a preview, it looks really good.
Who? Huh?
@Kyeh The guy from The Expendables? And The Expendables 2? And The Expendables 3? And also The Expendables 4?
@sammydog01 Ulp. I haven’t seen any of them.
They’re awesome.

I hope you’ve heard of at least some of these guys.
POPSOCKETS! SPROCKETS! DAVY CROCKETT! AWESOME!
@sammydog01
Yes, some of them.

@joelmw I personally think his original movies are better put together than their flashier sequels (eg Transporter vs Transporter 2)
@pakopako For sure
Death Race
Who?
Safe. Although The Meg would be second.
@PeacefulEasy Who isn’t a megalodon fan?

@PooltoyWolf Those three are lot more famous in the US, though.
Snatch! Come on, freaks.
@probablecaws
Crank 2
How can one forget the horse race track scene?
Hmmm… I guess The Mechanic was one of his less popular series?
