Belkin Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard Customer Support. Thanks Meh
14Last night I received an interesting email from Meh headquarters about my purchase of this keyboard.
Hello fellow Mehtizen.
Back on September 29th you purchased a Belkin Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard from your friends over at Meh.com. We just discovered that some payment system errors prevented our processing partner from actually charging your credit card at the time of purchase.
So what does this mean for you?
Well it means your order was completely free, congrats! And it's going to stay that way, our system issues shouldn't inconvenience you 4 months later. Oh how fun it is to be a small company going through growing pains.
So go invite your friends to check us out at Meh.com, they just might get free crap like you did!
Feel free to shoot us a message at meh.com/support if you've got any questions about the details of this whole mess.
Stay mediocre, folks.

This keyboard worked great but it was annoying that it was missing one key between the semicolon and the Enter. The single/double quote button wasn't there so, being a touch typist, I had major issues typing on it and kept pressing enter every single time I needed a quote. I eventually gave it to my brother so I'm glad I didn't have to pay anything for it.

Thank you meh for the free item. Your customer support is awesome! I know you have a problem with sending things out quickly and answering your support messages in a timely manner but I've always been satisfied with the way you handle problems when you do finally resolve them.

For no quote key it should be free. I ordered a keyboard once that had no ESC button. Like really?
@hammi99 It has one, it's just not in the standard location. It's right there next to the space bar.
@Cinoclav oh whoops apparently my four eyes wasn't enough. Time to put on my contacts and I'll have 8 eyes !!
@Cinoclav Why in gods name would anyone put it there? I can't think of a worse place to put it.
@Cinoclav That is just wrong.
@hammi99 That would be six eyes, unless you're putting two contact lenses in each eye.
@ChunkyBitz it depends if you think the impact is multiplicative or exponential. BUT ... weeeelll actually, it was a trick - I still have two eyes!
Well, here is your cliche, mediocre feedback. Thank you and I only slightly brag to my friends the meh deals you post. Keep being mediocre.
Even though the item was only $5, this was a nice unexpected gesture. Thanks meh! You keep up this kind of customer service and you are going to have to change your parent company's name.
@readnj To be fair, I kind of doubt they could even legally charge you. There has to be some limit, and I would think that 4 months would be approaching, if not past it.
@Fen_Star Hard to say. Sites like Kickstarter collect payment now and charge when deal closes. Though the possible issues of $5 disrupting someone's budget 4 months down the road and the CS costs of "I didn't buy anything from you this month" issues would likely be too much trouble.
Sorry to hear about your colon pain. Thanks for sharing
@TheAlmighty1 It's pain with the single and double quote. My colon was working just fine.
@cengland0 Sorry to hear about your foot pain (and inch pain).
@dave Ha, that took me almost a whole minute to get that.
I wish I had a K
I think I got charged for this one, but its the order that meh shipped me 2x by accident and told me to keep the spares. Because Meh customer service is ALWAYS awesome (though sometimes a few days late)
@MrGlass that is a different model. The one you are referring to was offered on a two for Tuesday deal. I got one of those too and it does not have the same key position problem.
I also received an extra set for a total of 4. I ccontacted customer service about the error and they said to keep the extra keyboards.
Meh is awesome!
