US mobile phones are crap. Over priced and data limited.
Samsung is rubbish. Bixby is so far behind Alexa and Siri, for English, it should be taken out and shot!
I’m moving to Google (god help me) as Samsung was good but Bixby was so bad I had to try something else.
Samsung makes it impossible to disable items on boot, like cloud sharing. WTF.
So my Samsung battery discharges too fast for so little items running. I’m hoping my new handset doesn’t have the same issues.
But why can’t we disable voice assistants? I navigate the buttons faster!
I’d not have bothered to say anything (I clicked over half) but my phone is at 69% (not kidding) and I felt that a little 69 is worthy of a mention here.
@baqui63 my order number was 69 at lunch today. I almost instinctively replied “Nice.” but the little 20 year old girl behind the counter would probably have found it awkward so I stopped myself.
Fortunately, I put my phone on the charger last night before bed, because there were high winds during the night and power was still off for a while after I got up, but I was able to check work email, etc with a fully charged phone. Still at >90% now.
Just brought one of the Qi pucks I bought here to work today, so my phone has been sitting on it most of the shift (I do most of my posts here on the computer…) I plan to keep 2 of the 4 here. I have a few scattered around the house to. The only time I generally use a plug-in is if I am using a battery pack or in the car…

@awk wow
If I had my old Samsung Seek, it would be dead by now. My current phone, the Samsung A51 5G, is exactly at 50%.

@Evansdoor
You can disable bixby. At least I could on my S9. I even remapped the button to the flashlight.

@djslack
I’m about 24%, but only because I threw my phone on the charger for a while earlier because I knew I was going to be using it a bunch tonight
67% as of 9:32PM on my Oneplus 7T. However, no one calls me so I am not too surprised.
If I am at my computer, my phone is charging to or at 100%. Those nights I have typos is when I am on my phone. Not tonight, evidentitaly.
i am sleepy
17% but much higher when I initially voted.
Off the charger at 8pm Monday night. 100%.
Screen time 2hrs/screen off 14.50hrs. 10%.
Charged 45min. 90%.
Screen time 1hr/screen off 10hrs 28%.
Battery health is at 75% after 3yrs.
/giphy Respectable.
It sits in its charger all night, so 100% as it is still there.
92%, having been up for about 2.5 hours

100%. Because I left it at home.
82% because it has been off the charger for about 1.5 days.
72% after 8+ hrs. Doesn’t get much use excepts for alarms, texts, weather, calendar, & occasional call.

Believe it or not I don’t own a cell phone. I hate them. But I work in the technology field. Go figure…
