OK, meh, you’ve got some explaining to do… just got my BOC and it’s better than anything meh has sent me in an IRK for a long time. Quality brand name ear buds (two sets), cut proof gloves (can finally play with the cats again) and several other cool gimicky items.
Time to get competitive, time to do better than woot… or time to just say “meh” and provide more regret… either way is cool with me!
@OnionSoup Agreed. I got a little tape measure, sidewalk chalk, princess heels (for kids), acne things, pens, and an Oster set of kitchen tools.
My husband used one of the spatulas and declares “I have a new favorite spatula”. (His old favorite spatula died a couple of years ago and he hasn’t really liked any of the replacements.)
I was quite happy with what was in the box.
All for under eleven dollars. I didn’t have to buy anything else.
@tinamarie1974 Have you tried searching for a “pancake turner spatula” or something like that? This is one of the wider ones, i have one that’s similar, but I’m not sure what brand it is, since i got it years ago. They’re really thin & pretty flexible, so it’s easy to get under things but better for stuff that’s on the lighter side. If you enter that search term in Amazon (or prob any site), you’ll see some that are thicker/more substantial if that’s what you need…?

@OnionSoup Also got two sets of earbuds, RayBan sunglasses, Teva sandals, tray for making ice for water bottles, gloves, a memory foam pillow (unlike the one I got in a previous irk, this one shaped up quickly and is rather nice!), and a bag of course. Everything can be and is being used, nothing thrown out except the box it arrived in. Really did put my irk to shame.

She hated it so I stole it when I moved into my first house around 20 years ago. I loved it and it just died last year. Left it propped on a skillet and it got too hot. The handle melted off

If I used a big skillet I could actually flip an omelet more easily without breaking it in half using this one:

As an aside, the top of the page on Woot says they’re going to be forcing all customers there to use AmazonPay for all Woot orders going forward. That’s a pretty braindead business decision IMO and will result in me no longer buying there (not like I did very often anyway, but…).
@PooltoyWolf OTGH, unless they’ve changed their policies, you can still give Amazon Pay a card and tell it not to save that one. 'Zon’s going to make money from the transaction no matter how you pay.
