Babylon 5: The Road Home
4In case word hasn’t reached this digital backwater, Joe Straczynski (JMS) has an animated Babylon 5 movie completed and in the can! No date yet, but “this summer” release. Much of the original cast returning as voice actors.
The shot of the station is a still from the movie.

More details here: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/babylon-5-the-road-home-voice-cast-unveiled-1235483312/
Joe says good response may lead to more movies.
(This is separate from the series “reimagining”, which is still (slowly) in the works, but stalled by the writer’s strike.)

I loved Babylon 5! I strongly feel this show was what caused Star Trek: Deep Space 9 to really up its own writing game in the later years.
I should try to rewatch it, as I never did finish the final season (because TNT fucked around so much with it).
@haydesigner It’s so much better the second time around because little things you didn’t notice the first time stand out as foreshadowing (heh!) or setups for stuff that paid off several seasons later.
@blaineg yeah, the writing was just phenomenal! But the acting though… ugh.
