Before I retired in tech engineering, they sent us headsets (useful) and cameras. None of the engineers ever activated their cameras. The sales and management people usually did. But they were prettier. I remember in one conference someone activated a camera of the people in the room and I was thinking “damn, you all look old” (hadn’t seen them in person in a while—many of us worked together since the 80’s)
Once I accidentally activated camera on my iPad and one manager I know said Get a haircut!
