1Although the summer weather hasn’t relented yet, it’ll be officially autumn in a few weeks. In the meantime, August is coming to a close – and so does @ircon96’s month of goatdom – which means it’s time for another mehmber to take the reigns of the meh goat of the month.

Because @macromeh promised to be a lousy goat if elected, and promptly lost to @ircon96, I’ll lead off by suggesting that this potential cabrón isn’t out of the woods yet. Goathood could still happen. So in the spirit of encouraging the nomination of a different candidate to broaden the selection, I’ll just leave this nom for @macromeh here where it can draw the level of attention that others feel it is worth.

Thankfully the vast majority of goats far out pace that level of involvement. OTOH if you don’t, that’s fine too.
I believe @awk had something unnaturally positive to say about durians… and narfcake pointed out that’s worth a
nomination.
@xobzoo And the decision point is rapidly approaching; anyone who wants to weigh in on this critically important referendum needs to vote fast, vote high, and vote often - oh, wait, this isn’t that kind of election. Yeah. Just vote by clicking the appropriate star before Midnight EST on Thursday or we might all have to be ignored by @macromeh for thirty days.
