At least Meh would never sell counterfeit postage stamps.
2On the other hand, establishing a Facebook profile and/or group for that activity is not a violation of Facebook’s Community Standards. I’ve reported such, and they say “no violation found.”
Rest assured that a scammer trying that here will crash and burn hard.

I’ve followed through on my “no violation” claim only to be reprimanded for false claims. A third follow through and no complaints except I no longer see those scams. I kind of hope this is a new
loserscam siteloser who will learn their lesson the expensive way (also, FB quality assurance, you morons)I would say the community has always done a great job of flushing them out and the vol mods, regardless of who, always react quickly to shut down the perp!
/giphy you can’t stay here

I’m convinced they just don’t care anymore. Someone literally posted my full physical street address in a public tweet to try and dox me, yet Musk’s website insisted no violations were found. Bullshit, but okay
@PooltoyWolf somebody stepped on someone’s fee fees
@DLPanther ?
@PooltoyWolf There’s a reason some of us call Musk’s swamp Xitter now.
@PooltoyWolf He has never cared
@werehatrack Oh yeah, I have to wade through it every day now…
@werehatrack @PooltoyWolf
I’m not on Xitter or Farcebook, but I’m on Instagram just to see stuff (haven’t posted anything.) I saw the fake stamps being sold there too, a while back.
But today I saw this, and it made me think of the time you had 15 minutes of fame for the frogs in your windchimes!

@Kyeh @werehatrack Wouldn’t play for me :c
@PooltoyWolf @werehatrack Here’s an article: https://www.thedodo.com/daily-dodo/woman-discovers-that-her-flowers-have-become-a-hotel-for-frogs
@Kyeh @werehatrack That is adorable!
@PooltoyWolf @werehatrack Isn’t it? It makes me want to grow dahlias!
Did i miss something?
@chienfou We gripe about the stuff here, but at least it’s all legit even when it’s snake oil. But over on Facebook, they allow sponsored ads for counterfeit postage stamps.
What is Facebook?
@unksol Haha - I never joined either.
@Kyeh @unksol

/giphy high 5
@Cerridwyn @Kyeh @unksol
yep… that’s why the reference was nonsense to me
but ‘stolen’ toothbrushes… well, that’s a whole other matter.
@chienfou They were never fakes, though. And Quip itself utterly failed to prove thise were illegitimately acquired, from what I have heard. They had a poor grasp of certain business principles, like inventory control and accounting standards.
@werehatrack
If my tongue were any more firmly in my cheek I would be choking on it…
just sayin’
OMG you can counterfeit stamps?
I’m so going to save 32cents (or however much a stamp costs these days, I haven’t sent a letter in years) and counterfeit a stamp.
@OnionSoup Current letter postage is $0.68
/showme a billionaire cartoon duck diving into a pool of postage stamps inside a giant vault.
…
Is that duck melting?!
/showme that same billionaire cartoon duck flipping off the US Post Office.
I like DuckTales. That is all
