I am absolutely a guy who has seasonal drinks and snacks and such. For instance in the winter I love a hot mug of cider or in December I will only drink peppermint mocha coffees. I also enjoy the eventual chance to wear my favorite hoodie from H&M, at least until it falls off. Sadly H&M no longer carries that despite my emails asking for some way to buy them. Also, not having to pay for A/C for a couple months lol. And, in November is the Blizzcon which I “attend” via the internet.
Autumn in New England is the best. Maybe it’s basic AF but give me all of the apple cider and pumpkin and flannel everything. It’s 90F here today but I’m making apple and pumpkin breads tomorrow and receiving a package from LL Bean, so I’m ready.
@becca I’m right there with ya! Apple and pumpkin picking. Corn mazes. Cozy backyard fires.
All.The.Apple.Cider.Ever. Like, it’s a digestive disaster.
We have a local hot air balloon festival that’s pretty awesome too.
@sammydog01@Targaryen Opened this thread with one reply in mind, “I will cut the first person who says, Pumpkin Spice!” A shame it has to be you I cut.
Not feeling guilty for laying around the house all day when it’s sunny out, since in the pnw we don’t get that many sunny days. When the weather is back to it’s craptastic grey depressing-ness, being lazy and staying inside is fine.

@becca Yes, I lived in Mass the falls in NE are pretty nice. When it gets a little cooler people start gearing up for fall.

@becca @Hussypants Have you done an AMA yet @Hussypants?
@becca @therealjrn I haven’t. I’m thinking I’ll do my virgin post soon though.
I bought this last week:
@sammydog01 I can’t do pumpkin spice, but you enjoy that.

@sammydog01 that reminds me! It must be almost time for the annual batch:
@nolrak That coffee sounds terrifying.
@sammydog01 it’s incredible!

After Labor Day when I close the pool and my work life gets 50% less complicated.
@therealjrn What do you do for a living that you are responsible for a pool?
@Kidsandliz Property manager.
Hockey season, which is especially exciting because my team has a good shot at making a deep run since they signed John freaking Tavares.

Family fantasy football league. Weird rules, which is fine.
I give this obsession at least 5-10 seconds each and every week, considering my roster.
Without fail. Except when I forget.
I enjoy this.

Cooler temps. But, like you, it’s gonna be a while here in Bama before that happens.
Summer is only just barely two-thirds over!
