7Lin-Manuel Miranda has the ability to get his message across. If he can produce another work that has the effect ‘Hamilton’ has had, the prejudiced bullying, bigoted, misogynistic hatemongers will be laughed out of town. His actual tweet, when someone said he’d be moving to Canada, was ‘F*ck that. I love this country, and there’s more work to do than ever. (No offense Canada)’.

I’m not sure a single great musical, or many of them, can cure anything.
Several million people with attitudes and energy like Lin-Michael Miranda’s might cure a great deal.
@f00l I think you may be underestimating the power of an inspired piece of music. That said, lasting effects would likely take a generation.

Perhaps a song,or a musical, has that power. Dunno.
Whatever makes a change will have to reach out to all the various Americas - something that gets people out of their echo-chamber mindsets and Im under fire, and no-one listens to me, so I won’t listen to them" habits.
