Wonder what the base vehicle inside the green one is? Would be perfect if it was an AMC Gremlin, another vehicle mocked for its looks and stories of unreliability.
I LOVE that!
There’s a cybertruck parked in front of a house near mine that also had the first giant skeleton I saw in real life. Conspicuous consumers, those people.
@Kyeh OK, but a giant skeleton is a relatively small investment that can bring lasting enjoyment! Personally, if I put one up? It’d get seasonally redecorated so the community joy could keep on giving!
Whereas a cybertruck is a rather large investment for an IRK, especially when they’re regularly available here for so much less.
@brainmist Oh, I like their skeleton! I just think they seem to be out to be the first on the block to get the “coolest” stuff.
BTW, are you still channeling Lizzie Borden for spooky season?
I heard a local off-roader say that the Tesla has really nice wheels and tires. If it had a real suspension system capable of crossing speed bumps without breaking, they might have something…
@werehatrack saw two at a dealer last week while getting Model3 service (nothing major; wind noise and they replaced door weatherstrip under warranty and aired-up tires)
Have no idea about Cybertruck ruggedness but wheels and tires looked very impressive; I might even suggest testosterone-filled.
@OnionSoup I saw one repost of the photo of the Honda nose-to-nose with a Cybertruck. accompanied by the comment “Stainless steel dumpster resembles odd green car”
@brainmist@OnionSoup Yugos! most classic bestworst car ever. Funny thing is it was so embarrassing they had to split up the country so now there is no Yugoslavia. (personal note: this is funny because my father was Croatian, which now is a country again.)
@brainmist@pmarin that’s my dream retirement country. Now UK has left EU might be a little harder to achieve. Working on getting my Hungarian citizenship so I can have an EU passport again… Of course, Hungary might be kicked out of the EU before I retire too.
Awesome.
LEGOS! EGGOS! STRATEGO! AWESOME!
Too funny!
My bet is on the green one lasting longer.
(There’s a reason why r/CyberStuck is in the top 1% of all subreddits.)

@pmarin Honda. Check at 15:19
@llangley @pmarin Good find.
@llangley @pmarin The owner of that vehicle could absolute start a business just showing up to park next to cybertrucks to mock the owners.
And then monetize videos of it.
@brainmist @llangley @pmarin And extort them to drive away from their precious cybers.
@brainmist @llangley @pmarin
Oh, that’s what CSI Cyber is about? A whole series based on an ugly car?
@blaineg @brainmist @llangley
in my earlier post I said AMC Gremlin, but was thinking of this
/image AMC Pacer green
EDIT Oh Yeah, that’s it! Frog me, baby!
@blaineg @brainmist @pmarin Are you sure??
@blaineg @brainmist @pmarin but this Roadkill is best!!

@pmarin @werehatrack
Compensation?
The green car actually looks cool in a kooky kind of way. Can’t say the same about the Tesla.
@OnionSoup The corrugated body is reminiscent of the Volkswagen Thing.
@Limewater @OnionSoup I immediately thought Jeremy Clarkson, but then I saw the video and it actually drives, so…

@OnionSoup Kinda reminds me of Yugos.

Are they both saying the line?
