@Kyeh I’m going to see them in October. My best friend is a Phish person. I’m finally breaking down and seeing a show. I saw Trey in concert with his band, and they were excellent.
@Fuzzalini I’ve actually never heard them! I had a student worker once who was a Phan though. It sounded like it was a whole “lifestyle” for a lot of people. (Quote marks because I don’t really like that term, but …)
@Rueki I used to be a Capricorn, but gave up being a goat. Because, Tom Brady.
Then, I became an Aries. My uncle hated Fords and told me how good Dodge trucks were.
(My mother told me I should be a Virgo, until I was at least 29.)
I’m not not a fish person, but like, they don’t hold extra special interest for me. We had some growing up in a giant tank in our library, and I recall irritating maintenance and sadness over the frequent deaths of different fish. It looked nice/interesting, which is I guess why my parents wanted it. In a home with three kids under five right now, it’s not really in the cards.
I hate fish, they stink up the house and they taste gross in my opinion.
I grew up on a lake and would never go swimming by myself because I was afraid of the fish, some are pretty big. Now I feel justified for my reason bc when we’re out at the sandbar drinking beer the panfish will attack and start taking bites at our legs.
I would enjoy having another fish as a pet, but with our sporadic schedule I may not be home for who knows how long the fish would go without care so obvious right now a pet fish wouldn’t work.
Yes. I loved Fish on Barney Miller.
/giphy abe vigoda fish
This whole thread seems fishy to me; I feel like I’m being baited.
@mehcuda67 They had to hook you in somehow to catch you so you’d post.
Fish person:
@phendrick
TBH, he looks more reptilian than piscine.
@phendrick
I’ve seen that movie before and I’m pretty sure he’s not a fish person.
I love fresh fish, I cannot lie.
You other people can’t deny
That when a fish is freshly killed
It taste better fried, baked, or grilled
@hchavers
Unless you’re Gollum.
Then it’s fresh and wriggling…
@werehatrack sashimi does not fit the iambic pentameter
@hchavers @werehatrack
If you’re in Japan to dine,
fresh sashimi is divine.
@Kyeh @werehatrack You win the “ataboy…I mean ataperson” prize!
Us folks in Oregon evolved gills and webbed toes long ago. Those that also have scales live in the coastal region.
@tweezak I guess Umatilla county missed that evolutionary step. Being a resident and all, I can say that we do not have gills.
Or … are you a Phish person?
@Kyeh HELL NO!

No I am not the Mariner.
@yakkoTDI i used to be the sub-mariner
I like fish, but I don’t want to be responsible for them. So…no? Or yes? idk
/youtube do you like fish sticks
@medz only with custard
@ybmuG you’re a gay fish
@medz High art.
@medz @PocketBrain if by “high art” you mean something you consider art when you’re high, then sure.
@PocketBrain yes. Only sophisticated individuals can appreciate the subtle humor of such innovative jokes.
Only on Leap Day
Well technically yes because I’m a Pisces, but in reality no. I don’t like the taste of fish and especially don’t like fishing out the tiny pin bones.
@Rueki I used to be a Capricorn, but gave up being a goat. Because, Tom Brady.

Fish ‘n’ grits. The civilised breakfast.
I require an “all the above”.

Eliza was really a fish person.

To eat, to keep, or to catch?
