@aetris@walarney a friend of mine wears some like them when he’s biking. That way he can still hear the traffic. It’s definitely a trade-off, but for his application, I think worth it.
They vibrate near your ear. I have AfterShokz and the sound is well… meh. Fine for podcasts or phone calls, not so great for music. The point is to leave your ears open so you can hear your surroundings and not be oblivious.

@walarney - I got a pair of these: their sound is sort of ok but they are not super comfortable. I went back to earbuds.
