@shalynrut I suspect that most of those Woot sales represent gifts that will be delivered in as public a manner as possible. (The boxes of cereal, not their effects.)
@chienfou@Kyeh There was an entire thread once about whether or not cereal was soup and earlier than that a discussion about this in a different (broader) thread.
@Kyeh Yes, the long running radio variety show on NPR, A Prairie Home Companion, with Garrison Keillor, which featured musicians and musical groups, along with bogus commercials, such as “The Fearmongers Shop,” “Bertha’s Kitty Boutique,” “Raw Bits,” “Cafe Bouef,” “The 'Mon Back Brothers Moving and Storage,” “Guy’s Shoes,” and, of course, the infamous “Powdermilk Biscuits, get 'em ready made in the bag with dark stains that indicate freshness; Powdermilk Biscuits, which give shy persons the strength to get up and do what needs to be done,” etc.
There were a lot of short radio plays and running serials each week, all from the inventive and creative talent of Keillor, who wrote the entire show, including the storytelling centerpiece “The News From Lake Woebegone.”
Raw Bits, the cereal consisting of wheat hulls and oat chaff, that wasn’t for everybody, was just one of his many, many creations.
/8ball Yes or no?
My sources say no
@narfcake The Magic 8 Ball is a wise master.
Yuck.
It’ll make you go just like Harry!!
Looks like Colon Blow has a new name!
@yakkoTDI You can buy it too.
https://itsugar.com/snl-colon-blow-small-box.html
They are gluten and wheat free but are they also asbestos free?
@cengland0 Yes the asbestos is free.
@cengland0 I am happy to report that asbestos in this product is so low that it cannot be detected now.
@cengland0 @Jackinga Well, that explains why it’s free.
At least they are now non-GMO
Links or it isn’t real…
https://www.pooplikeachampion.com/products/original-ultra-fiber-cereal?variant=41939061244088
Spoiler: it is real.
@hamjudo You doubt me? I’m shocked.
@hamjudo it’s real and either inflation is nuts or they’re very proud of it. Fiber must be an expensive ingredient.
They’ve sold it on Woot a few times. It sells out fast!
@shalynrut I suspect that most of those Woot sales represent gifts that will be delivered in as public a manner as possible. (The boxes of cereal, not their effects.)
@werehatrack Absolutely!
@shalynrut @werehatrack
But why???
@Kidsandliz @shalynrut @werehatrack Because Woot. Remember, they’ve sold this:
https://sellout.woot.com/offers/bag-of-pot-1
They also sold out of the dime bag before too.
https://www.woot.com/offers/woot-dime-bag
It was $20 + shipping.
Huh. Until now, I did not know that there was a pooping championship.
I would enter, but the training program is really shitty.
Just putting this here because it’s cereal:
@Kyeh
is that the Canuck version?
@Kyeh You do know that cereal is actually soup. Right?
@chienfou It must be!
@Kidsandliz I disagree.
@chienfou @Kyeh There was an entire thread once about whether or not cereal was soup and earlier than that a discussion about this in a different (broader) thread.
@chienfou No…that’s a spoon, not a hockey stick.
@detailer
Touché!
@Kyeh evidence of how peanut butter captain crunch came to exist?
Also interesting, around here Reese owns the puffs instead of just describing them.
@chienfou @Kidsandliz I know about that controversy; also is a hotdog a sandwich, etc.
And I say cereal is not soup. Harrumph.
@djslack
Huh?
@chienfou @Kidsandliz
BTW - glad you’re posting so obviously you weren’t hit by the heavy weather in your area!
@chienfou @Kyeh Fortunately west of me.
@chienfou @Kidsandliz
Whew. It sounds pretty bad.
@djslack @Kyeh
Or are they puffs made out of Reese instead of puffs under the ownership of Reese?
@Kyeh
@yakkoTDI very limited edition, actual Reese puffs!
Slightly stale, though, considering H. B. Reese died in 1956.
@chienfou @Kidsandliz @Kyeh A hot dog is obviously a taco.
Meh. Think I’ll stick with the poopwaffles.
Raw Bits breakfast cereal, a cereal for a select small target audience (“Oat hulls and wheat chaff—it’s not for everybody”)
If this rings a bell (you’re a recovering APHC listener), you know that you have to apply and qualify for this product. It’s not for everybody…
@Jackinga
APHC? Appaloosa Horse Club?
@Jackinga @Kyeh
A prairie Home companion

@chienfou @Jackinga
Oh, of course.
Did someone say Cap’n Crunch?
@blaineg
But it’s so good
@Star2236 Yes, it is.
This too, shall pass.
@mehcuda67 With luck.
