Anyone else notice how lousy Cyber Monday is?
1I just don't see any really big deals yet. Just typical lame "sale" prices.
I may just have to go out today and shop.... hhgregg still had Sunday specials up when it was already Monday. Best Buy had nothing special, Walmart was disappointing and even Whamazon has "save" up to 30% on selected items. Oh but they did have the Kindle for $109. Just seems like a lot of over hype.

I saved a bunch of money on BF and expect the same on CM. When I don't buy, I save 100%. Hard to top that. XD
@nadroj Yes!!!!
I bought pajama pants.
@chr That's the only really good deal I've seen in the past 4 days.
It's Hammertime!
only on meh.com
@unixrab Probably your fault
@cengland0 nope. you still got that icon! it's all on you chivo
@unixrab But it's your fault he still has it. Thanks, @unixrab.

I bought a laptop on Wednesday, on a pre-Black Friday sale. It's not a gift, it's for me 'cause I'm selfish that way.
@bluedog I was one-click away from doing the same but the wife put an end to that..... Now I'm a little jealous.
@jimmyd103 Hubby and I have what some may consider a strange financial set up. After we each contribute enough to cover the bills and towards savings, the rest of our individual paychecks is up to us to spend however we'd like. We'll discuss large purchases with each other, but neither one needs to get the blessing from the other.
I think most sites started Cyber Monday last Friday or something... "Cyber Monday starts today!"
My husband and I were talking about that this morning. He said the same thing about the 'deals' sucking. I think online retailers realized that they were missing out on a lot of sales by waiting until Monday because by then, a lot of people have already bought what they're going to buy in the sales the week before. So, I think most of them opted to do their big sales last week rather than waiting until today and risking missing out on purchases.
Nope. My friends and family put in requests for prints of my photography or glass items for me to make and they get 'em, all one-of-a-kind.
Yes. I am That Guy. But if the deals out there suck, it's @unixrab's fault.

I personally haven't been impressed with the whole last week. Of course I used to consider a flatbed scanner for $20 (after mail-in rebate) and 27" (CRT) TV for $99 the great buys of 'Black Friday' so perhaps its just my age showing.
I just want the Moto 360 or the LG G Watch R to go on sale. Probably will just get one when the next upgrade is released.
Yeah, you're right. Black Friday was awful too. I say that as a customer, but I work at an independent store between two chain stores (with advertised BF deals), and employees from both stores said sales were dead this year compared to previous years. Probably Binny's cleaned up, but even their sales must have been down considering that I found a parking space right away (previous years they have filled the lot).
The only purchase I made on black friday was Guardians of the Galaxy on VUDU for $10. Otherwise I haven't seen anything worth buying.
This year was very Meh all around IMO. I had already bought new TVs in July for the house, so the only thing I bought at the store BF deals was 2 pairs of jeans for $19. For Cyber Monday the only thing I bought was a Blu LTE smartphone no contract unlocked for $130.
I did order some petsmart stuff on sale but not sure that really qualifies since I did that Saturday.
^ I did buy Rise of the planet of the apes for $10 as well.
I bought Season 1 & 2 of Orphan Black for $10 each, which seemed like a good enough deal for me.
I only bought headphones and that is pretty much it. I wanted to get a Boost Mobile phone that either KMart or Best Buy had but they were sold out. Otherwise, I was underwhelmed by the lack of so called deals.
Looks like it was clothes, hand bags and shoes

Where did you all look for deals today? Unfortunately deals.woot was useless this year, which had always been my trusted source for all things discounted. Where should I go now to find out what's happening?
