I mostly follow beautiful long haired bearded men.
And cats.
I literally made an account so I could follow an artist I liked that had cats. Then I stuck around to follow the pictures of men. There’s not enough men with long hair and that bums me out.
I did branch out some to follow horse accounts, bands I like, YouTubers, and other artists.
One of my favorite artists to follow was @colinchristian but lately he’s gone a bit off the rails. His wife @saschristian makes beautiful art but she doesn’t post very often because she had some kind of health scare, which helped attribute to the husband being strange.
@RiotDemon That’s a good question. I guess I follow mostly semi-offbeat arts and crafts (mostly Monster High doll modifiers), a couple of small coffee roasters, a handful of stores I like, a girl I used to work with, a guy I don’t know whose cousin mentioned his instagram on a website a few years ago, a couple of public domain occult art accounts, some animal accounts and some famous people I like including '80’s pop singer Marc Almond.
Long story short: as it always has been, crafts and the occult. But I’m open to anything interesting. I want to open up instagram and be intrigued.
@mossygreen gave Thomas a follow. That looks great.
Colin’s art has an interesting range. If you go back a couple of years, it’s mostly about the art. Pretty cool stuff. Hugely influenced by HR Giger and Lovecraft.
The really weird thing is… My ex worked at a print shop that made all these business cards/post card sized things for them a really long time ago. There was this one specific art work by the wife that really caught my eye and I wished I had the ex swipe some of the cards for me. I couldn’t remember who it was and searched for a long time for her. I stumbled across the husband and after a few weeks(months?), he posted some art his wife did on his own page. I went and looked back through her art and was amazed that there it was, that artwork from 10+ years ago. I was so happy.
@RiotDemon That’s a great story! It’s like you willed the art back into your life.
Kuntz has some great youtube videos of his automata. He makes the gears and everything from scratch. This discussion reminded me that I wanted to buy one of his perfume pendants from etsy. And then I did!
I deleted my Facebook, and they have a weird policy about removing your account where if you log in after having requested removal, the removal request is rescinded. I’m worried that because Instagram is part of Facebook, using it might cancel my Facebook removal request.
@eonfifty@RiotDemon I don’t have an account with Facebook or Instagram, never have… I have never let my beard get long enough to get any followers, so not worth my while.
But as I understand it, they have an account on me anyway. They spy on everyone user or not.
A trash can lid instead of a hat is high fashion. By the way, I like it when aged women participate in fashion using improvised materials for the outfit. Great picture, thank you! As for me, I like to follow the pages of celebrities like Celine Dion, Jennifer Garner, Demi Moore, Royal chef Alan Coxon, and others.

Colin Christian seems a little extreme for me, Thomas Kuntz and his automata are more my speed.

@mossygreen @sammydog01 he’s pretty cool. Who knew videos about a hoarder would bring someone fun to the light.

@mossygreen yeah. I just assumed I’d never find her again. It was just odd chance on both counts.
Perfume pendant? Cool!
@RiotDemon I assume it can also be used for deadly poisons and ensorcelled demons.
@RiotDemon
@eonfifty should I follow you? Are you a beautiful long-haired bearded man or a cat?
@RiotDemon
Yes.

@eonfifty Right now it looks like you’re a ghost!
@RiotDemon
I’m afraid to use it.

@eonfifty @RiotDemon ahhhh damn it not again. I’m turning into a post-necrophiliac.

@mossygreen I’m not on Instagram but on the Tony Kornheiser Show they said Luke Russert is an entertaining follow.
@elimanningface No idea who he is, but some great travel photography for sure!

@gypsychk I tried to watch her Halloween special on Netflix. Interesting stuff but I thought it was going to be more of a how to video.
@RiotDemon Yeah, no. Highly visual and non-replicable stuff. (Though she is live-streaming all day today making gingerbread: )
Make one!
