Any boxing fans out there?

Learning to love boxing when my father and I watched the Gillette Cavalcade of Sports-Friday night boxing many many years ago.

Anyway ordered the PPV heavyweight fight tonight . Started watching the prelim on ESPN+ at 4:50 this afternoon continued on at 7:00 PM on ESPN2 and finally the PPV at 9:00PM. So total of 7 hours of boxing in a row.

8 hours straight of boxing ending a little after 1 am, but unlike some of the PPVs, worth every penny.

I used to watch every now and then back in the days of Mohammed Ali and Mike Tyson. Never really followed anyone in particular, mostly watched when I’d happen across a match as I scrolled through the stations. Not a happening thing these days since I cut the cable when I moved in 2015.

My dad’s a avid golfer and he’s ALWAYS taped golf tournaments to watch at his leisure. Even though I never got into actually golfing myself, I’ve always LOVED watching with my dad!
Guess it’s all about WHO we’re with rather what we’re watching!
